75th Anniversary of the Battle of Midway...

I hope I am not going to rankle some folks for putting this on the Red Board, I just wanted to take a moment to recognize the importance of the heroic feat seventy five years ago this week.

Our brothers in arms of the Navy secured a massive victory, at great loss, that helped secure our nation and her fate. I spent time today with a veteran who served in this action and I can't help but believe that more folks should remember what was accomplished in those four deadly days.
