Just a thought  Some tackles when they have lost a step as they get older ( Penn )have been moved to guard. What do you think?      Thanks

I'd rather see him at RT than OG.  He might be able to do it but he's so top heavy I'm not sure he has the leverage for inside.

If we are not taking a QB then I am a fan of Watikins or gabbing a LT at #7.  Also, I like Allen in FA.

Or take Watkins, move Dotson to LT and Penn to G or RT and find a RT later in the draft.

Right now the Bucs have plenty of cap room

People keep saying this but it's not true. Especially considering our two All-Pros are coming up on extensions and our starting QB is making 700k.

We just shed $8 million worth of QB.

And David's cap number is less than a million.

That doesnt change that as of today, we have cap room.  We shed Freeman's contract with the potential to do the same with Davin, Zuttah, and Nicks (if he medically retires).

I like it. O-line will definitely merit watching. Im not quite as convinced that these guys are done. I think they underachieved last season, which is disappointing because I regarded Bostad as a pretty good OL coach. I like the signing of Mack and moving Zuttah to guard, where I think he is a better fit. Im hoping a new scheme will revitalize the career of Davin Joesph. Nicks? I think the Mack contingency kinda covers that. Regardless, were not going to find a replacement on par with a healthy Carl Nicks. Sucks. Penn? I think he has some left in the tank. People seem to forget that we played 3 of the 5 best defensive lines in the NFL over the last month of season....without a blocking TE to speak of. Dustin Keller might not be the answer. If we could some how work a deal for two 2nd round picks, using one of them on a TE, then I believe the draft you propose would be a slam dunk. Watkins is the guy I am hoping the Bucs go select.....if Bridgewater or Clowney didn't fall into our laps, of course. Pass rush is obviously a huge concern. Not sure if Allen is the answer. However, if the staff could work a few wonders with Clayborn, Bowers (it's a stretch, I know) and Goldson, then Allen might be a nice addition. Melton? I like the idea of a DT rotation of Melton, Spence and McCoy. Depth has got to be a priority and Lovie's defense starts with pass rush. The biggest concern here, is do we have the cap space to pull it off. Gametime:Trade VJax and Doug Martin? Hilarious. You are a madman. I want to party with you. Seriously, do you think this is Madden or something?

He's not up until 2016. Vincent Jackson and Dashon Goldson could pretty easily be gone by then to make room. And I haven't even mentioned any of the old, overpaid offensive linemen.

So cut Jackson, Goldson and the entire offensive line minus Dotson and go balls to the wall on free agents. How about do the the rest of winning teams do and draft well and sign tier 2, 3 and 4 free agents.

Vincent Jackson will be 33 in 2016 and Goldson will be 32 and he's not even worth what he's making at 29.

How about do the the rest of winning teams do and draft well and sign tier 2, 3 and 4 free agents.

I won't argue against that.

Gametime:Trade VJax and Doug Martin? Hilarious.

What's even funnier is that he wants to trade VJax for DeSean Jackson, who is a one trick pony and is already bitching about his new contract which I believe has him making top 10 WR money. I don't want DeSean Jackson anywhere near this team.

everyone wants speed right? I like vjax but he drops a lot of balls and is aging. Djax is a headache and a punk, but he gives us a different dimension than what we have. As for dougie, I like him also.  But he's a RB, and those are a dime a dozen. I've been caught up in wanting a big name RB, but currently believe it's pretty unnecessary.  Would much rather have a 2nd round pick.
