Should the Packers fire LeFleur?
Considering your measuring stick for great coaches is Todd Bowles, Matt should have a fucking statue built outside of Canton.
Point not taken. But I will say this in reference to your constant drum beat. Firing the coaching staff is a start bit it's not the magic wand to fix this team. It's the first step. The players are the ones losing these games. The Bucs previous melt downs - which resulted in the firings of Raheem Morris, Lovie Smith and Dirk Koetter- did not involve rosters that lincluded such esteemed cast of players that this team has- players who have won a Superbowl and made probowls. It's inexplicable how little the leaders of the team have been able to impact the direction of things. So once the coaches have been fired what is to be done with this roster? You can't just keep status quo.Should the Packers fire LeFleur?

A ton of changes need to be made with the coaching and players. No one is arguing that. It just seems to be a few who are arguing it's only players and coaches were screwed with the players they had. Everyone knows that our coaches suck and also that we are in a shit division where even shitty coaches can win the division make the playoffs but after that good freaking luck. Here's what is still the same. The division still sucks. There's still some top end talent here? You have to find something that works around them really well because theyre your best players. Clearly not what we have right now. So then even if we do get better players there's still the shitty coaching issue. Which a lot of time if you can get great leaders who your players trust. Sometimes you get more out of them than anyone else can. We don't have anyone like that now. With better leadership they can take another step but it feels long from that right now. We'd need to see it when we can make those changes and hope they work. This is where we're at but like I said the good news is the division still isn't great. Can make adjustments and maybe get back into it. However as status quo in any way. Coaching as well will get more of what we've seen. Glazers have to see and understand this or were screwed...

Oh cmon. Players are out of position, unmotivated, playing soft, etc...
That's a culture the coach needs to build
Its obvious Bowles has to go. JC can spew whatever bullshit he wants and blame everyone but him. He's the HC of a team that was 6-2 and collapsed. Buck stops with him. He's an average coach at best and his staff are even worse.
Get a proper staff in here and things turn around quickly. We saw what Baker can accomplish with a competent OC. Lets not forget we lost the playoff game last year because Todd's defense couldn't get off the field.
I'll say it again- this team has talent and its not a total rebuild. Should be an attractive job.
Yes the culture we thought we had for much of this season. That culture didn't just come from the coaches. It came from the players who were carefully selected because of their leadership. The question is what the hell happened to this culture? It seemed to disappear in a puff of smoke.Point not taken. But I will say this in reference to your constant drum beat. I'm not calling out players, but you have to name the names. You can't blame it on the generic "players" and not name names. These leaders are Wirfs, Mayfield, David, Evans, Godwin to name the most recognizable. I'm not saying they are garbage, but apparently the other players stopped listening to them as well. What do you do about that? Bowles is the type of coach who relies on this leadership from the players, and that didn't happen.
This has been a collapse of epic proportions given the expectations and the quality of players on this team. If we think that replacing the coaching staff while sprinkling in the usual amount of draft picks and a couple low budget FAs is going to bring this team back from the depths, I suggest we are fooling ourselves. It will be up to a new staff to sort it out, but they will have some work to do with the roster.
@catherder Its not in the Bucs DNA and the asking price will likely be ridiculous but Maxx Crosby could be the answer to the issues on defense. No way anyone's going to be loafing with him on the team.

Who knows but losing breaks down culture.
I raised in another thread whether Tykee Smith might be part of the problem, I meant part of the team breakdown, not based on his talent but based on personality. Is he disgruntled? Free lancing?
PR writes an article right before the Bills game that CELEBRATES HIM as the tone setter and the "chess piece" in the Bucs defense. If you look at his stats he is averaging about 8 tackles per game and he is making plays.
Yesterday, he has 1 tackle, was apparently benched, and was part of the cause of a blown TD and a big run. He's had several post-bye games with very negative plays.
Who knows, but quite a drop off
No one was complaining about "the culture" of the org being gone last year.

to me, the Bucs banked on just banking on rebounding against weak competition as they have done in 2023 and 2024 and didn't have to put the work in; well that didn't happen
I'm glad Baker says he's going to get the team ready for this week. Hopefully that means himself because he's making some clown like plays costing us games
