Why trade for a 33 year old high-performing WR when you have a 31-year old high performing WR?

Because the 33 year old high performing is much better than the 31 year old...much better. He's more of a go to guy than the 31 year old. Better hands, more physical. More reliable.

Nothing too exciting on the list,  if anything, we need to be trying for more picks ourselves.  Possibly with a trade down from #7. I have seen a few mocks with Cousins fetching a 2nd round pick, but I don't see the value.Revis is untradeable right now. No team is going to assume that contract. The only out, is to release him, and he then can do a new contract with another team. But I don't have a problem with him staying for another year or two. I think he can play at his usual high level of play for a couple more years.  Then they could release him, or even re-do a more team friendly contract.

At that age, those guys fall off the cliff at a moments notice.  So by age alone, you have to think Andre is a bit closer to the edge of the cliff, than Vincent.  As an example, Suggs started out last season looking like his usual self, and by mid-season he all but disappeared. Ozzie is a smart guy, probably the best GM in the league.  Suggs won't be back, at least not with the Ravens.

Age isn't always an accurate precursor. Suggs may look old at 31 but fly over to Arizona where 35 year old John Abraham had an outstanding 16 games.Ozzie isn't too bright....See Anquan Boldin about that one. 33 year old Anquan Boldin....

He has explained he couldn't pay Boldin, It killed him to lose him though.  Those are the tough decisions you face when your QB gets paid 1 zillion a year.

He could have. He chose not to. Flacco's $6 million cap figure from 2013 had nothing to do with it. Especially when just a week and a half later he signed Elvis Dumervil to a big contract, $8.5 million in the 1st year. So I'm tired of hearing that Flacco was the reason Boldin was traded. It's inaccurate and a rather lazy assumption by fans.

The point is, Ozzie is the best GM in the league because he knows when to cut ties. Sure Boldin had a nice season, but how much does he have left?

If 2013 is an indication, he has plenty left. It's also an indication that Baltimore never utilized him to his full potential. He goes to a team that runs the ball 54% of the time and puts up his 1st 1000+ yard season since his days in Arizona in 2009. It speaks volumes.

When you are a 33 year old NFL player, its hard to imagine "he has plenty left"

That is my point really.  Did you ever hear that sayin,  its better to let a guy go 1 year too early, than 1 year too late.

No. It's a stupid saying really because you're basing it off of an assumption that because this guy is "old" he won't be any good....I guess that's the philosophy the Colts went by.

All we need is a playmaker at DE (or two) and we are set on defense...... anything else would be a waste of resources IMO.
