why stop with Marty, lets go after Shula
Shula? Let's get Don Coryell since we should be looking for HCs that played marbles with Jesus.

that....or maybe blow the dust off of Bill Walsh
Stop thinking small.Break out the Necronomicon and get Vince Lombardi.
Now we're talking
No, not at all. I didn't guarantee anything. Did the Chargers not get the "Guaranteed" version of Marty in his FIRST two years?Hint, there are no guarantees.
What Marty went from 8-8 in his first season with SD to 4-12? Say it ain't so .....

Marty had been coaching for 16 years and had a win % of .601 with nearly 200 wins under his belt when that happened. I say he earned a leap of faith. Schiano hasn't done d!ck at any level and doesn't deserve any leap of faith. I'm sure you can't see the difference in thes two situations though.

A blatant act of stupidity right there.
Are you implying that turning a horrible club into a mediocre club at the college level should earn him a 3rd year in the NFL, and that by not agreeing with your opinion, I am blatantly stupid?

That's more than d!ck so and better than most guys would have done ... yes, blatantly stupid.I never said anything about earning a 3rd year so you can imply that on your own if you wish.

I said he hasn't done dlck to deserve a leap of faith, and by leap of faith I was clearly referring to a third year. That was the whole point and topic of my post...so no. I am not trying to imply anything that you didn't actually say. You are either trying to twist things because you enjoy trolling me or you think turning Rutgers from a bad college team to a mediocre college team is a great enough accomplishment to earn him a 3rd year in the NFL, or your reading comprehension just sucks. Which is it?

He got hired by an NFL for not doing d!ck at any level then?I think what he did at Rutgers was a great accomplishment but does that mean he should get a 3rd year with Tampa Bay... No.
It was an overblown accomplishment, and schiano is a politician. So, of course he made something out of something else sound so pretty. That's what politicians do.And comparing nfl level to college level is asinine. If not myer is the beat coach ever for getting tebow all those wins.Marty wins in the nfl level, schiano hasn't and can't. There really should be no comparisons.

I take issue with the bold. It's extremely arrogant and agenda-pushing to declare that Schiano can't win at the NFL level. Not even done with his second season and you're just gonna write him off as an incapable coach, for the rest of his entire coaching career? Next time, I suggest that you put "In my opinion..." in front of a statement like that, just sayin'. In my opinion, this fan base is too full of cats that would rather "be right" about something than sit back and enjoy the ups and downs that come with being a Buc fan lol.

No you said he "hasn't done d1ck at any level AND doesn't deserve a leap faith"
