I'm thinking about Curtis Samuel. By now I think it's clear that most scouts view him as a WR. Due to his height, or lack thereof (5'11), he most likely play in the slot. He's projected by most, if not all, to go higher than, Zay Jones and Cooper Kupp. The only explanation for this is Samuel's speed -- Jones and Kupp are superior receivers, but not as explosive. Now, if speed is what Samuel has going for him why is he projected to go in the early 2nd Rd, while WRs like Dede Westbrook, Shelton Gibson, and KD Cannon are project to go in the 3-5 rd?
What is so special about Samuel?
