The kindness of Gerald Mccoy .A positive story from 49ers game. Dec 16 2013, 1:43pm Sunday was the first time since I was six years old that I went to a Buccaneers game without my dad.Three months ago my father suffered a massive stroke. He has lost the use of his left leg and left arm.We enjoy watching and talking about the Buccaneers. My dad always took me to Bucs games it was what my dad and I shared together. I love my dad very much and remember the old sombrero. He wanted so much to go with me this time but cannot, so I took my wife to her first buccaneer game. This game was very special to me. After the game I stood for two hours getting autographs. All the players are very polite and signed autographs. My last autograph went to my dad. When Gerald came out of the stadium I told him about my dad and he put his hand on my shoulder. He wrote a personal autograph to my dad and included a bible verse . It was Isaiah 54:17. I thanked him and drove back home the next day to the nursing home where my dad is at and gave the autograph to him. It brightened his day. Thank you GMC for being such a class act and being an awesome guy. http://www.bucsnation.com/2013/12/16/5216906/the-kindness-of-gerald-mccoy-a-positive-story-from-49ers-game
Good man is Gerald McCoy.
Nice post.
But he's not mean enough to be a DT, yards yada yada. Gerald is a good dude. Sorry about your dad.
He is a good guy and is playing at a high level right now, but I am sure some will find something to bitch about.
McCoy seems like a great guy and is a beast on the field. Glad he's a Buc.
McCoy is awesome. Glad he is a BUC
He has definitely won me over
Gerald has always been a nice guy from my understanding.Seemed nice enough when I saw him at fanfest. I threw out my back the day before, but went anyway. When I went up to him to get a jersey signed I couldn't lean over the table to have it signed. We laughed about it, and he walked around the table to make sure I got his sig.Not exactly omg nice or anything, but still. Seemed pretty decent to me.
