He's an elite pass rusher and also stellar at shedding blocks to stop the run. He plays all three downs and anywhere we ask him to on a 4-3 line.
JD,He averaged double digit TFLs his last 3 seasons at Pitt and he played both DT and DE....and has double digit sacks the last 2 years. As I said before, I have not seen a collge DL as disruptive as him since 99 was at The U. I would love to see him lined up at left DE and watch them try to block him with just a OT....or OT and TE....which would take away a target for the offense.

I could absolutely see Donald playing LE on first and second down, then sliding inside on third down. I would actually love to see a 6'7'' or 6'8'' tackle try to block Donald. He would get a lesson in physics and leverage- same as that dude is JDub's old sig that Donald put flat on his butt.

Obviously it depends on their draft board but you are asking me I say Mack is a 3-4 joker not a fit and Sammy Watkins is no.10 rated player on my board so those two players being available would not stop me from drafting Donald. But I would probably have a player rated higher than Donald available at no.7. I am really high on Justin Gilbert and Mike Evans. I would be thrilled with any of those 3 players.

That's fair. This is the best part about the draft man. Each fan and "analyst" is banging the table for their guy and then after the pick, people are thrilled or pissed.
@bucs449-I agree that QB is the most important position, and that about 25 teams in the league could use an upgrade there. In a vacuum you're correct. Where many disagree with you is when you apply that theory to our draft this year. There are many people that do not feel like the QBs available this year are all that great. There are many that feel like the QBs are average and the position players are amazing. Even if QB is the most important position, is it important enough to take a QB that you feel is a C+ at best when there is a WR/DL/OT available that you feel is a solid A? Drafting a certain position just to draft one (aka reaching for a need) usually doesn't end well.Even if there is a QB in this draft you are very high on, I doubt you are truly high on all 4 of the top QBs. They are just too different. What if your favorite isn't available? Do you still take a QB just to say you tried or do you take a guy at another position that looks fantastic? Personally, I feel there are fewer players at the top that fit our team than most think. I don't think we need another big jumper at reciever so I wouldn't go Evans, Mack and Barr are both 34 OLBs not 43 DEs, and I'm not huge on the QBs. In my opinion our pick in this draft comes down to Clowney, Watkins, Robinson, Matthews, or Donald. I would be happy with any of those 5.
