I've not said Benjamin is better than Evans.
I know and I'm not accusing you of saying that. I'm simply pointing out that TDs are in fact an important part of the equation when comparing Evans and Benjamin.
But it's not like Benjamin only had 3 TDs. He had 9 to Evans' 12. There's really no difference in that. In different situations Evans could have easily 9 and Benjamin 12. I'm inclined to think Evans is better but I'd make the case that us because his peak monster game dwarfed Benjamin's best game and Evans also had better target percentages and drop rate. Number of TDs is way down the list.
Honestly, if the QB's were worth a crap, Evans should have had about 16 TD's this year. There were multiple times the guy was overthrown for an easy TD.
For the record I think Mike is much better than Benjamin. Benjamin is the guy I thought he was. Big athletic freak with inconsistent hands. I think Mike and OBJ were the clear #1 and #2 rookie receivers this year, and if I had to pick a #3 it wouldn't be Benjamin. He was on a team were the only other real option was Greg Olsen, so he was 5th in the entire league in targets....but 30th in receptions and 22nd in yardage. That tells the true story imo. Excessive opportunities with only mediocre results. Plus he is already 24 which is kinda old for a rookie.
It's going to sound strange but, who throws the ball to these receivers does make a difference......

Watkins, OBJ, Benjamin, even Richardson/Davante Adams have a chance to be better than Evans.
Again, cool story. They "have a chance to be better". I'll take the guy that doesn't need a chance because he ALREADY IS better.

I Just realized no one bumped this for Donald @92 on the NFLn top 100.Then I realized JD was gone.Then I was sad.
He was my choice as well, but you really cant complain how things turned out at this point.
Evans is going to be a perennial top 5 WR in his career. Donald is a great player but interior linemen don't mean much, if anything, to the outcome of a game.
