I think a good mid way point for those who want a change and those who don't, would be to change the pewter to more of a matte grey instead of the current shimmery brown.....but leave the red jersey as is. So the red jersey/pewter pants would change only slightly. Then, instead of the white on white garbage, do the pewter pants with a two toned pewter jersey.

I think it's about time to get rid of the sweat stained, stinking, outdated pewter pants. Silver pants would work. No more sweat stained, disgusting, pewter pants.
I love the pewter. Just tweek the tint some and lose the black altogether. The black just gives us a falcons vibe.

Might need to go back to red helmets or even orange if we went with pewter jerseys. A matte orange helmet with a glossy orange Buccaneer logo would be pretty sick,.
Any chance you could do this, but with the opposite numbering color scheme?Neon orange letters with darker red border. Or Neon orange with black
Most people have OCD and need everything to be asymmetrical....but I don't. I think an oversized Bucs flag on one side of a matte grey helmet would be tight. 
What about the pirate ship logo on a red helmet , since it has lots of black ??

Heck yeah. Solid pewter...but the tips of the flag would wrap around about 3/4 of the helmet....so you's almost always see some flash of red. This is super quick and rough....but it would look something like this from the front. Unorthodox for sure. Would probably want to rework the flag to make it a little more tattered and flowy to it would look really cool.

Still rough, but a better representation of what I would do. Have the flag shedded and wrapping around 3/4 of the helmet. 
It's a logo, so you can't get too carried away with fine detail, but it would be cool to get a little more of this in the flag. It is a pirate flag after all....needs to be a little shredded.
