For me, if they ever do change it up and revamp the unis, the most important thing is to change the pewter to an actual matte grey pewter instead of the brownish sparkly color we use now.....and then incorporate lots of the orange along with the red. Very minimal black and white. The red, black, and white makes us look just like 10 other NFL teams. The matte grey and orange, along with red, can be our thing and really set is apart from anyone else.

Does look like the Chiefs. :( I was just trying to make the OS pic biskitlimped posted look good....didn't really work out.The big blocky font looks like the Chiefs, which doesn't help, but I think when you remove the black from the number outline and just use the orange, it looks very "Chiefy". Maybe the numbers being orange with white outline would look better.....

Might be able to pull off pewter numbers with a red or orange border trim on the white jersey.

Me either. I thought less black was the way to go....but I think it is important. It creates contrast and ties everything together. I think maybe red should stay the main accent color with orange as the trim. Black is needed to bring it all together. 
JDub, you should use the oklahoma state grey uniforms as a base. Its pretty spot on for pewter and orange and just add some red to it

The pewter uniforms only work with white helmets, IMHO.
