I have NFL Gamepass and re-watched the 1st half, watching each play multiple times focusing on different players and here are some things that stood out to me (and hasn't been talked about much):Defense:- David: Mid season form, on separate occasions a guard and a full back had him lined up for a block, he slips them and makes the TFL- McCoy: Same old here again, he's the quickest off the snap and gave the OL trouble..When I watched the game live I was down on him for the goal line TD since he was pushed back 5 yards into the endzone, but he was doubled by the OT and G, while McDaniel was doubled by the C and G...It was English who needed to make that play- Verner: Made a couple of stellar tackles, the one where he took on the OT and still made the tackle from his knees was very impressive- G. Johnson: Had a couple good rushes pushing the OT back to the QB...Nothing great but solid-J. Smith: Did not look good at all....didn't get near the QB, looked really small (because he was getting handled by the bigger men) and one time was blocked by Rudolph 1 on 1 no problemOffense:- Evan Smith: Didn't make any mistakes that I could see and was good in the run blocking dept. Also worth noting, due to his a-hole reputation, that he was the first to congratulate Bell, enthusiastically, on his 1st punt return where he ran it up in there...very "leader" like...- ASJ: Getting a lot of flack for not making plays, but I think he deserves more criticism for his run blocking...in one word: useless. Stocker has my vote as TE1- D. Smith: Looks very awkward in pass pro, his feet aren't right and he's not getting his hands on the rusher...Pamphile went back in for him after his first series, for the next 2 offensive series, before he went back in at the end of the half...That doesn't say week 1 starter to me- Marpet: Really good run blocking, he's excellent at coming off his initial block and getting to the 2nd level. He had some issues in pass pro, but I believe when the game starts to slow down for him he'll be really good in that dept. as well...when he gets in front of his man he anchors very well and stuffs him....future is brightWhen the All22 becomes available I will focus on Winstons night, but I will say that his INT was definitely a hold/pass interference on Evans that I think he would've caught, or a least got his hands on...Evans was also badly interfered with on the long sideline pass.
