I want koetter 2 stay I really don't think going through another search is the right move. This teams season was turned upside down from the beginning imo with the Irma fiasco... then jameis injury which probably happened b4 it was reported. the bucs are a team that I feel koetter can do good things with if given the chance. I don't hate his scheme players are open if u look at the tape. But jameis imo isn't able to make the proper throw with his messed up shoulder from the beginning of the season. Monken came in and vehemtly denied the rumors.the only part I thought koetter has really fucked up at is keeping Doug Martin as a starter. Imo koetter should be given 1 more year if:
1. Fires smitty. Or gets him the dline needed 2 pressure the qb. Which imo is Jason's job which he has sucked at btw.
2. Delegates playcalling 2 monken.so he can focus on getting the team 2 do what is needed on game day. The WHOLE team. Not just 1 side. Maybe that's what leads 2 the non consistency shown.
3. Fires some of these assistants that aren't good. Qb coach,warhop, special teams coach to name a few.
4. Harder training camp. Wtf u listening to jack del Rio 4 Dirk?
Imo Jason has 2 do a lot better if kept. (Which I wouldn't do btw). Worked for the lions. I really think this team was dealt a shitty hand this year from the beginning. He should be allowed 1 crap season with what we've had 2 go through. Let's stop trying 2 recreate the past by hiring former coaches we tried this with lovie. Gruden has been out of football 4 yeeaarrss. I'm just not feeling it. What happens if gruden comes back and is terrible? Do we fire him after 2 years 2?
