I'm super happy Aguayo is back on track as a kicker. I had faith but would be lying if I said I wasn't starting to get nervous.
But has he kicked a mortar kick yet? I don't recall seeing one but don't claim to have seen everything.
I see reporting of his touch-backs as a good thing, and they aren't bad, but with the new rule of putting the ball at the 25, mortar kicks and his ability to do them well was written about as much as his accuracy to justify his draft position.
Am I wrong? Maybe this is something they've done in practice but not games? Maybe for obvious reasons they wanted him to focus on making field goals since that had become an unexpected struggle?
I'm not really concerned, just something I was thinking about and didn't know if anyone here knew more they could share.
Thanks.
