He just interviewED for the Washington Commander's OC job...you think that's a better team to go to?
why would he come here?
Well, the obvious would be to slide into Bowles' job when he's fired, but it's highly doubtful he could get such assurances.
Other than that, no reason. I'm pretty sure Licht/Bowles aren't even bothering to make an inquiry.
Wow, so many of you are really stuck on the doom and gloom train. If Beinenemy is taking a call from the Commanders who also don't have a QB or much of a running game, why would he not take an interview with us?
@cerious I believe his contract is up. He can go anywhere he desires.
for a HC job
@crazyhorse54 I know that to be the case. He's obviously looking to get out from Andy Reid. If he can turn an offense around he'd be more likely to get a HC offer in a year or two. So why not the Bucs?
Why would he leave Kansas City?
because in KC he doesn't call plays and needs that experience to move to higher levels of coaching, like being a HC some day.......what out Kliff Kingsbury? Why not interview hm?
The #Buccaneers are hiring #Seahawks QB coach Dave Canales as their new offensive coordinator, sources say. After 13 seasons as an assistant on Pete Carroll’s coaching staff, Canales heads to Tampa to run the offense for Todd Bowles.
