Hated the offensive gameplan/play-calling outside of the abundance of 6 and 7 man protections.
Way too much 2nd and long due to 1st down runs.
Not remotely enough play-action.
3rd and 1 shot.
That needs to not happen next week.
But this review and NFCCG Preview is going to be about the defense. Bowles set these guys up to do what they do well by eschewing the 4d chess for an overwhelming dose of what they do well. 2 Deep...Press Man Under. And the guys rewarded him for it. Devin White, LVD, SMB, CD3, AWJ, Dean. All played great. 4 Forced Turnovers. Michael Thomas - YOU GET_NOTHING! YOU LOSE. GOOD DAY SIR!
Going to look at all the plays made by all the guys and all the defensive play calls (going to be a lot of Press 2 Man!)!
Then I'm going to check out what we did against the Packers in Q2-Q4 to shut down Rodgers et al.
