I know we don't have Douggie Fresh, but we have plenty of capable backs. Run, play-action, repeat. Not run, pass, pass... Or pass, pass, pass...
Keep the D fresh, and control the clock. Our Rams 2nd half killer penalties, both pass plays. We don't commit those and we win the game, period. Don't put so damn much on Jameis so early or you will screw his confidence - not to mention his arm.
40 pass attempts is where we should be - max.
I think Lovie's influence was good on the Offense last year thus far (yeah I said it). Lots of season left, but seemed way more balanced last year.
We are quickly morphing into the Falcons circa 2013. Suspect defense, with no pressure. Tiny gnat CB's. No commitment to the run. Explosive passing game. Will throw up 32 in the blink of the eye, but will lose by 3-10 points while doing so. Not surprising considering we have the two men responsible for that mentality.
I hope they figure it out quickly and learn from past mistakes.
It's fun to watch our team score TD's, but it's more fun watching them get W's.
