Big, mobile enough, can take the hits, can throw it downfield. Has a 13 win season under his belt. Several playoff appearances.
Seems the knock on Dalton is is he isn't good enough to inspire greatness like A Tom Brady or Patrick Mahomes. But with a good team around him, he can be more than good enough to win the NFC South as a Buc, preferably while a rookie QB sits behind him and learns.
Dalton will come cheaper than most, probably 15-20m which allows us to resign who we want and still land a couple free agents to strengthen the overall roster. I actually think he is a decent fit for Bruce, and we know that this coaching staff will get the most out of him.
Just throwinf out another option. I didn't like it a couple months ago, but I'm warming up to it. Especually if we land the right QB in the draft. What say you?
