heading into next year? This season will be considered an apparition by the organization which will give the collective at One Buc the impetus to not rock the boat and stay the course? We all realize some type of shake up is necessary but it feels like we are stuck in some type of time warp.
Yeah i have that feeling.... The blame will be on everything else but the Coaching staff. We will lose to the good teams, beat some bad teams. Schiano will stay because our guys play hard again....
I feel the same exact way. I'm very concerned that Schiano and company will be back for another season. :(
I have already come to the realization that Schiano will be here next year. The Bucs will probably go 6-10 or 7-9 and then fire Schiano having wasted another year.
I just see the glazers being dumb enough to fall for schiano's politics and wasting away another half season.
If I'm laying odds 80-20 he is back. I think 50-50 he fires Sully and replaces him with McNulty. I don't expect that to change anything of note about our offensive approach.
Talent wise this is a 9-7 team max. However, I can't fathom how this team isn't competitive at all at mid level or upper level teams of the league. If Schiano and his staff are consistently out coached how come the Bucs staff can't recognize this and correct this issue?

This to me is the problem. I watch a lot of teams and see them being who they are. Coaches don't add value they just get what their talent gives them. Some teams get more than they put in. We appear to get less. This team should not be a 4-12 type team. They're not a Super Bowl contender but they aren't as dreadful as this. Sure, they belong in that band of 6-10 to 8-8 mediocracy around the league...but we most likely won't get there.

The fans are looking for any excuse to fire Schiano.The Glazers are looking for any excuse to keep Schiano.That's the situation right there. Even if they fire him, you got the issue of the Glazers frequently whiffing at the plate on finding a good replacement. We'll end up with a coordinator like Zimmer or go back to the college ranks again. Lovie? He'll stabilize the franchise, but his offenses in Chicago is the reason he got fired, and offense is a problem we have here. Lovie was never able to develop a QB. So unless we get a hell of a good OC, I don't see Lovie being a very good answer to our issues.But I dont think the Glazers make any move at all unless we are blown out in the final 2 weeks here. I think there is enough cohesiveness in the air that it doesn't warrant blowing up the staff just yet. Although I think Sullivan may be the scape goat.
The Glazers know that somebody will have to fall on the sword or you can forget about season ticket sales next year. I'm guessing that Sullivan will be the sacrificial lamb. I can't see them cutting a Head Coach after 2 seasons. That's just not their style. Dominik, however, has had 5 years to put a winning team together. He has failed. But he hasn't put them in salary cap hell, so he might possibly last until the Glazers get their usual 7-year itch.
Maybe the niners will let Roman bring Kaepernick, Gore, and Davis with him .......
Cyber makes good points.I'd have to argue that schiano won't win anymore games though. Many here already have got the idea that buffalo was their last chance at a win, and with this offense I doubt we're beating anyone.
