If I'm laying odds 80-20 he is back. I think 50-50 he fires Sully and replaces him with McNulty. I don't expect that to change anything of note about our offensive approach.

McNutly becoming OC doesn't excite the fan base and it seems like a lateral move at best.

The fans are looking for any excuse to fire Schiano.

No, the fans are mad because in two years we haven't hit .500 ball. That's not "looing for any excuse" that is looking at a bottom line profession and the bottom line sucks. This isn't running Andy Reid out of town or even Tony Dungy. Those guys were winners, Rutgers is just not doing what he is here to do, produce wins.

Absolutely I do. I still think Schiano and Glennon will be the franchise next year because the Glazer brothers are horrible NFL owners. I liked their dad, but these idiots need to just sell the team. They are clueless and don't even seem like they are football fans. I mean, you always see shots of other owners watching from the box or even down on the field....not the Glazers. They don't seem to care about the game, I'm not sure they are even fans. They don't seem to care if we win or lose as long as they make money. I think half the time they are somewhere in Europe watching soccer. I'm over it. The Buccaneers need new owners, new front office, new coaching, and a new QB. I'm tired of rooting for a loser.

Who are you going to hire with a HC on the hot seat?

And that is the problem.  Worse, you can't fire Dominik and leave Schiano and his staff in place with a new GM coming in...that wouldn't work out long term.  It feels like next season this team is just going through the motions unless some type of epiphany, or intervention takes place.

Bring back Les Steckel.as OC. He produced the highest rated offense since the Glazers have owned the team (higher than any of Gruden's years with the Bucs). Dungy cut him after a year because the players thought he was too much of a hard ass. He would be considered a pusssycat after they've had to put up with "toes on the line" for 2 years.

So tell me, why did you like Malcolm? Because he raped the taxpayers on the stadium deal? Just checking because that's been his ONLY involvement with the team. The kids have been running the football operations from the get-go.

Maybe Dominik needs to lay down the hammer a bit. Fire Sullivan and hire a solid OC and cut back Schiano's say on the offense. If Schiano refuses, fire him.

I would say hire new OC and DC and cut back Schiano's say on offensive and defensive scheming to nothing. ........If he disagrees fire him. There are way too many great football minds out there to keep a guy around who isn't one of them. Period.

If we can't get a big name coach like Gruden or Cowher, I'm cool with giving Schiano one more chance to have a winning season. If Schiano stays though, I'd hope he gets us a good QB this off-season... because Glennon just ain't cutting it for me.Either way, I don't think next year will be more of the same. I think an exciting new QB is what we need and what we'll get ...no matter who is the head coach... and that will make a HUGE difference IMHO.

The fans are looking for any excuse to fire Schiano. The Glazers are looking for any excuse to keep Schiano. That's the situation right there. Even if they fire him, you got the issue of the Glazers frequently whiffing at the plate on finding a good replacement. We'll end up with a coordinator like Zimmer or go back to the college ranks again. Lovie? He'll stabilize the franchise, but his offenses in Chicago is the reason he got fired, and offense is a problem we have here. Lovie was never able to develop a QB. So unless we get a hell of a good OC, I don't see Lovie being a very good answer to our issues. But I dont think the Glazers make any move at all unless we are blown out in the final 2 weeks here. I think there is enough cohesiveness in the air that it doesn't warrant blowing up the staff just yet. Although I think Sullivan may be the scape goat.

I think you are right on the money. Especially the first two sentences. Why do I just know the Glazers are going to keep him?

Is there an exciting QB in this draft? Bridgewater will likely be out of reach. Houston has shut it down this year and wont win another game.

Blake Bortles baby!!!!!!!!!Dude could be the real deal if you ask me. I should probably put in a disclaimer that he is JDubs latest QB crush.  I actually like this one. Check out his videos in JDubs thread.

I can't believe some fans are still fixated on Gruden and Cowher. That was so 5 years ago. There are other options now believe it or not.
