@jeffphowe: Aqib Talib: “I’ve been in the NFL since ’08. But I’ve really been in the NFL since November of 2012.” http://t.co/Wlc4IURamZ These articles are tough to read but I love how players take no accountability.
He's been a jag off since 2008, but has really been a jagoff since.... Today!
Maybe if he had spent less time hitting teammates with helmets, punching cabbies, shooting guns in the street at people and popping adderall, he could've helped turn the Bucs into a good team as well. Good for him that he grew up and found success. But don't point that finger at Tampa like they were the bad guys, they gave you about 5 chances.
What a punk. What league was he in when Hakeem Nicks dogwalked his ass last season?

That remains the most thorough domination of a CB that I have seen....EVER. Concur with the OP. Some players take no accountability.
Sure he behaved like an immature anus when he was in Tampa...nobody would dispute that....but let's be honest here.....things weren't exactly structured in a way to make him accountable. I'm not making excuses for the guy in any way but now he finally realizes the repercussions of his actions...right or wrong, it appears the hooded one was able to use the force for good with Talib. If he can keep himself out of trouble, he will continue to make Pro Bowls and earn himself a healthy living and I don't have a problem with that....

That was like witnessing a damn assault and battery.
He's the best cover corner in the league and it's not even close. Our idiot organization let him go and now we get to watch him and others make a super bowl run. I hate his attitude but he's the best there is and we let him get away for nothing. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

You obviously haven't watched him play this year.

Good but not that good.
I get pissed about the Bucs letting guys like Blount, Bennett, Gilberry, and Selvie go but I could care less about Talib. I also can't stand when the media brings him up saying bad move by the Bucs. What those asses fail to realize is Talib's dumb ass was one more move from a full year suspension and two moves from maybe a lifetime ban. Like I said, most players that the Bucs have let go/traded/let walk have pissed me off. Not Talib. That loser needed to go.
And was coming off a Adderall suspension. They had to let that punk go.
And also not to mention he couldn't and still has trouble staying healthy.
