This thread isn't necessarily about Talib's play but his comparison of the two organizations. Which are clearly worlds apart as he points out. That is very disheartening if you are a Tampa fan. I hope Smith brings respectability back to the team.
That comparison doesn't meaning anything to me coming from a guy like Talib.
Thats all great and all with Talib, a real feel good story. Lets see how fast things go south when they tell him they are not paying him the megabucks he will want. I think his attitude may be a little different later on.
This is an example of fan hate. When has Talib ever been about the money? Hell he's playing on a 1 yr $5 million deal. If that was someone like oh I don't know, DARRELLE REVIS, he wouldn't even bother showing up. Revis is all about getting his $$$$ 1st and foremost. Talib, thats never been the case.
No hate here at all bro. Where to start? The Patriots offered him a 5 year deal that he turned his nose up to.. He didn't feel the dollars was enough. So they worked out a 1 year deal for 5mil. His thinking, according to his agent, was that he could cash in big time after a good season in 2013. But ya, your right, he has never been about the money.
After some team gives Talib a long term deal, he'll be back to his old ways. He's ghetto trash. And who wants to bet that team won't be the Patriots?

What were the terms of the 5 year offer? I'm going to assume that you don't know. Faulting a player for not signing a long term deal when they feel they are worth more isn't the same thing. Him agreeing to a 1 year deal just to stay shows that. If he was "ALL ABOUT THE MONEY" he would have gone elsewhere to a team offering more. That is also nothing like the Darrelle Revis situation I laid out where he actually held out for more money and then even threatened to holdout again. Not to mention him wanting $16 million a year. When has Talib done that again? Please refresh my memory

So the Patriots are better than the Buccaneers? Is that supposed to be a revelation to anyone?
talib and blount .... I think of that lump schiano more and more as a decoy sent over here by bellicheat :-X :o :'(
I understand Blount popping off. Afterall, he really didn't deserve to be essentially kicked off the team. But Aquib Talib? After the Bucs stood by him after he fought and injured teammates, got in trouble for punching a cabbie, got in trouble for shooting at someone (then blaming it on his mom) and getting suspended for Adderrall...he has the sack to dis the franchise that gave him chance after chance in this league, then sent him to the most successful coach in the NFL? I hope HorseHead and his bronies clean their clocks today.
Karma is a bitch...it is about time for their warts to show and no better time than this afternoon
I wanted the Pats to win because I like to see when Peyton comes up short especially to Brady but because of Blount and Talib I hope the Broncos go all Hakeem Nicks on their asses.
She-She couldn't keep Talib's toes on the line. But the best coach of all time(!??) could. Surprise!

Wow, ok.I guess we see things differently. Taking the 1 year deal, just postponed the big payoff. Now this offseason, he will go for the big money, whether its in NE. or elsewhere. If that is not being about the $$$$$$. I don't know what is.
Now he's hurt again and standing on the sidelines. Can't stay healthy and now his team is going to lose the AFCCG. Karma is a bitch you punk.
Talib and Blount really showing their value in this game. Wouldn't be surprised if neither guy amounts to anything else in their careers.

This. Karma is definitely a bitch.
