This QB debate boils down to this:Ticking time bomb who is ready now vs. Chior boy that needs a year. This is assuming they have similar ceilings, which I bieve they do. So is this team ready for a QB, are we losing sight of the long term success and stability in lieu of short term success, is there enough reward in the way of 2015 success that warrenty starting a rookie?I think this is a point that is getting lost. What do we actually gain long term by using the start ability of a QB as a measuring stick? If I'm thinking big picture, for the future stability of the franchise, is starting a rookie QB just to put butts in the seats the best move? Personally, as much as I would scream to see the rookie, eventually my logical side would take over, and I would be happy to let the rookie get groomed in preseason and garbage time. Just an angle I haven't seen brought up yet. Both of them need grooming, albeit 1 seems more "pro ready"Despite having a strong preference for one, Trying to keep an open mind about both. And determine what the value long term is of starting a rookie QB next year, or letting him clipboard it.
