At some point is it fair to say the some players are just injury prone? Is it fair to say that spending a lot of money on injury prone players can hurt a team? Are McCoy and Martin injury prone? Looking at the record you'd have to say yes. They are. There's no denying it. Either not playing at all or playing at half strength because of an injury certainly doesn't help. And it ties up a lot of CAP dollars with little or no return.

Sooner or later you have to deal with it. It's nobody's fault, not a reflection on anyone's character. But this is a team sport and injury prone players at key positions is a lot to overcome and it seems to be the case here for some players. Than there's Sweezy, signed for a lot of money who hasn't even seen a practice as a Buccaneer.

The Buccaneers have a lot of money tied up in players not playing and some of them are in this category far too much of the time. Fair to type? I certainly feel their positions need to be addressed in future drafts and perhaps in FA.
