Did anybody catch the post game locker room speech by Arians? Arians said something along the lines of “That was a total team win in all three phases, now, was it pretty?”
Jameis (the only one who responded) said, “NOOOPE.”
Immediately after that, Arians corrected Jameis and yelled out, “YOU’RE DAMN RIGHT IT WAS PRETTY!”
All Jameis’ teammates busted out laughing and he just stood there looking stupid. I know it’s just a little thing but it reminded me of the time Jameis tried to hype the team up in New Orleans with his “Eat a W” nonsense. That was over 2 years ago and there are tons of new faces in the locker room.
Based on what I’ve seen following this team and the rest of the NFL, Jameis simply isn’t a leader and doesn’t command the same respect in the locker room that the elite or even good QBs around the NFL command.
