I have made a couple of posts the last couple of weeks, and I have stated that I have a relative working in the organization and he has been relatively right in the info he gives me.1. I wrote a post that in no way would Trestman be our OC, while some agreed most blasted me for some of the info I put with that post. If he was such a hot commodity why are all these OC positions open and yet nobody has hired him. He is decent offensive coach but there were way better options out there and notice the hiring of Roman and Koetter. The Bucs were really high on Roman simply for his nasty offensive philosophy. He would have been a good hire to and notice Rex didn't take long in wrapping him up in Buffalo. Koetter was a great move by the Bucs, and he will do great things with the weapons we have on this team.2. I love Pewter Report, but I am going to say this again. I realize that they said the consensus around certain scouts is that Winston is the favorite. I don't believe it for a second. If you watch Jason Cole from Bleacher Report or Charles Davis, they have talked to multiple scouts especially Cole who polled 8 scouts and all unanimously chose Mariota over Winston. My relative would only tell me that the Bucs love both quarterbacks, but he said Lovie truly in enamored with one. Just going to point out that Lovie was at the championship game, and he has always been a character guy so I am going to bet if Mariota can show he can start adapting his game he can be successful, the pick to me is easy. Can't put a value on Mariota's humility and desire to be the best.3. A little off the Bucs I don't know about you all but how about the mess in Atlanta. I think its hilarious. Scott Pioli is a cancer in the front office, and how they have created such a disaster is beyond me. I was tickled to death that Rex and Bowles didn't choose Atlanta. Now they are hitching there wagons on Dan Quinn. While Quinn is a good defensive coach just remember this. When you have Chancellor, Sherman, Irvin, Bennett, Mebane, Wagner, Earl Thomas, anyone can call plays on that defense. He is a product of a defense with talent oozing at every position. I thought Del Rio or Fox might come but no, Arthur Blank has created a monster with their front office taking power away from Dimitroff and handing to than blow off Pioli. It's hilarious that the 3 years in Kansas City they were terrible then they get rid of him and turn everything around. The Falcons will take a huge step back if they hire Quinn, I think he is fool's gold all the way. As long as Pioli is the man in charge the Falcons will have to deal with his average scouting and huge ego. All I know is thank you for running off Rex and Bowles.
