In case you actually read this, let me first say you're a stud! I'm so excited about the job you've done so far and for the future of this team. I have no doubt you'll be leading our franchise for the next decade or more. This isn't intended to be an armchair GM(I could do it better) deal. I truly feel deeply passionate about the idea I'm sharing, and I hope we(The Bucs) are looking at this.

The one thing that jumped off the field to me yesterday in AZ(I was 6 rows from the field, behind the Bucs bench) against a very fast/athletic defense was our inability to take the top off the defense. The Cards stacked all 11 guys within 5-10 yards off the line of scrimmage because we have zero guys with wiggle, speed and explosion. Mike Evans is explosive and fast-ish, but lacks short area quickness/burst.

Here is my thought/idea: Trade a draft pick next season for a game breaker at WR. I understand that's not an easy thing to do. There are 3 guys who are likely available for the right price:

1. Josh Gordon - Obvious character issues, but with Jameis taking him under his wing and on the other side from Mike Evans, we'd have a very solid young WR duo for years. Cost: Likely a 2nd round pick

2. Cordarrelle Patterson - Fallen out of favor in Minny, but has ridiculous measurables, game breaking speed and still has room to grow. Cost: Likely a 3rd to 5th round pick

3. DeSean Jackson - Exactly the type of guys we need opposite Evans. Wiggle, Speed, Hands, Attitude and Experience. The Skins just drafted his replacement in Josh Doctson, are stuck on stupid already and will lose him in the off-season. If the Skins are 2-0, no way they pull the trigger...as is, we have a shot. Cost: Also, likely a 3rd to 5th round pick

We need a burner, they aren't walking around on the street, but these 3 guys could propel us to another level.

I hope this doesn't come across crass or disrespectful, I just love the Bucs and want to see us thrive.
