I don't think it's that complicated.
Baker played at an MVP level through 7 games. He constantly bailed out the offense, extended drives, and game up clutch in critical moments.
Then he got hurt and Grizz's play calling got exposed. The injuries caught up as teams started spying Baker as well.
The defense carried it's weight a little more early and then flat out shit the bed against lesser opponents down the stretch... Not just in numbers but in critical moments late, 3rd/4th down, etc.
But all of that was moot if Baker is extending drives and keeping the defense off the field.
As I said in the beginning of the season, the loss of Coen will be enormous... Grizz had zero experience. He was saved by Baker magic as was the Bucs.
For all the talk of this team possibly being 11 wins it could have easily been 4 wins or even less.
I don't think we more than 2 games in convincing fashion.
He may not have been fired, but he's been emasculated. I believe, with no proof, the coaching changes were dictated by the Glazers. They want to make a point to stick to the Bowles contract extension but doing everything short of that to make changes, but that only makes Bowles's position even weaker. The only way to make it weaker still is to go above him and hire a big name OC who could be the next HC in waiting.hindsight is a beautiful thing
it's kind of like all of us expecting progress in 2025 and certainly looking that way at 6-2
These are some of the choices that led me to believe Bowles was done.
Oh, you mean Mushmouth from Fat Albert? The guy who can't win the big game ever. The guy who will never be durable enough to make an impact with any team he's on. That Lamar Jackson? There’s only one Lamar Jackson.
I believe, with no proof, the coaching changes were dictated by the Glazers.
Then why do Foote and Caldwell still have jobs?

What is the basis for the belief then? You offer a hypothetical (outside OC as new HC) so that did not happen yet? Bowles has fired many but not all of the coaches. So, thats a little inconsistent with your theory. The opposite has been reported.
What is it that led you to that "no proof" conclusion?
