Brady was run out of New England his last year with a first round loss
he was so not coveted that only the chargers and maybe raiders were somewhat interested in him.
we started out 7-5, he wasn’t buzzing but still good. It was the final 4 games in which we got it together and won superbowl
and let’s not act like 2020 team was equally as talented as this 2023 team lmao.
Brady is the GOAT and even if he struggled to start with this team and HOFS Gronk, Evans, AB and a much superior offensive line. Apples and bowling balls
a 2022 to 2023 comparison is much more reasonable and anti bakers will just say that Canales is so much better than leftwich.
as we saw today, he can be just as bad at times
2021 Brady > 2020 Brady > 2023 mayfield > 2022 Brady
That sounds like a lot of horseshit to me. You don't know any of that. The most sensible stuff I've heard is that he had San Fran as his number 1 and us as his number 2. San Fran had the QB's they wanted to roll with and said no, while we opened up the doors wide. And look at the Patriots since he left. Showing how important the play of the QB is to the team in general. He helped us become world beaters for 2 years, and kept us in the hunt last year despite crappy OC play calling, and a lack of young talent. And he did that last year despite being down 12 pounds and was weighed down in general all due to his divorce. He was clearly hurt substantially by it. She had clearly moved on a year prior.
What we have seen with the Arians offense is it needs top talent all across to still work in this league due to the fact everyone knows how to defend all the route choices. Yet, despite a worse offensive line, he still won 8 games for us last year, should have been 9 if they stayed in against the Falcons.

so what's horseshit about it? the Niners didnt want Brady as you suggest and we really only were competing with the Chargers for his services. it later came out the Raiders were interested but never any word during the time of a contract offer.
Brady is the GOAT and helped us become world beaters for two years. No one should disagree with that. What a time to be a Buc Fan. The guy is the best Bucs QB of all time!
We get a little drive going by hitting Evans on a big play, and then Baker throws a pick.
Football 101 would be THAT ^^^^ as one critique in a game where BOTH SIDES of the ball were overwhelmed, white fumbled, Palmer fumbled, our best defender got burned by a back up QB running as a WR . . .Most of these plays were as critical as the earl pick you refernced and the LINE PLAY on both sides was arguably more determinative of the outcome. The Bucs were literally BULLIED (again).
I am sure you wrote multiple posts about all those other issues . . ya know, the ones that do NOT relate to Trasks' competition :-)
so what's horseshit about it?
I didn’t get past your first sentence before I smelled a fresh pile.
I'm talking about the teams not being interested in him. Smells from here.

so you really do like Mayfield?
oh wait . . strike that

You have a warped mind. How you come to that conclusion is beyond me. Put Brady on this team and we have 3-4 more wins. Period.
You can settle for less, but I'd like a QB that can maintain an adjusted QBR in the upper 60's to lower 70's at the least. Baker is constantly in the mediocre to average level. He's had three games this season where he was in the elite territory (80+), and 5 where he was in toilet bowl territory (under 40). Is that what you want to settle for? If so...that's pathetic.

A fresh pile in the sense that it smells like a drunk driving, douche bag ambulance chaser shit himself in the back of an Uber (scratch that...wouldn't happen).
Honestly, someone should get him a Plan B packet for the amount of dick riding he's doing.
My favorite part is how he tells everyone they shouldn't compare this year to 2020/2021 because of the talent level.
But, that this year vs. last year is fair game...as if a completely different offensive scheme means nothing.
Lolz...

Brady is the MUCH better QB but he NEVER . . . . NEVER . .. . agrees IN HIS LAST CHANCE TO WIN IT ALL SEASON . . to put the ball in the hands of White and Edmonds 50% of the time, especially after the slow start running.
Our first win last year, we beat the Cowboys by RUNNING the ball down their throats (33 rushes out of 60+ plays)
In our last lost last year, the Cowboys CRUSHED us with Brady throwing the ball . . . SIXTY-SIX TIMES (really?) . . . and the Bucs running the ball TWELVE TIMES
this is NOT MADDEN
maybe you have the warped mind?

Brady is the GOAT. You conform your play calls to what he likes to do. But, if you knew anything about him, he has always been big on hitting the backs when defenses play back to take away the receivers and tight ends. He's also never been afraid to hand the ball off. I mean, we kind of did a lot of 1st down runs up the gut last year. Why didn't that change? Like I said, put Brady on this team, and we already have the division wrapped up.

The child-like adoration of Brady is weird.
There is NOT a single player -- NOT ONE - who is not some mixture of good and bad. Brady is the greatest QB ever. I am a huge fan. His presence is why we won a a SB and almost repeated.
BUT, his presence in the 2022 season was good and BAD and the "Brady is God" crowd who seem to think he can do no wrong simply cannot except -- even with a mountain of evidence -- that he was responsible for a lot of the dysfunction in the team and LARGELY responsible for the insane offensive game planning.
You dont even address that, except to mention first down runs . . . SOMETHING WE DO A LOT OF THIS YEAR and something that has DIRECTLY led to victories
Again, we BEAT the 2022 Cowboys by running the ball . . in the playoff game Brady THREW 66 times lol
But, its even simpler than THAT. Mayfield is held out as a LEADER of the team by both the players and the coaches. the team is OVERPERFORMING. One thing they call out often is his coming here in the off season and preseason to work with them. WIRFS MENTIONED IT JUST LAST WEEK
Brady not only show up LATE he actually LEFT during the pre-season:
Tom Brady is stepping away from the NFL, temporarily.
After the NFL quarterback missed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' practice on Aug. 11, coach Todd Bowles addressed Brady's training camp absence while speaking to reporters.
"Tom has been excused today. He'll be taking—he'll be back somewhere around after Tennessee," Bowles said, per NBC Sports, referring to the team's second preseason game on Aug. 20. "He's going to deal with some personal things."
Bowles even INSINUATED (love that word) that Brady was a problem:
"“I think [Mayfield is] relatable because he’s different and I think we have a different team,” Bowles said. “I think we needed to go a different way."
ITS A TEAM SPORT . . . not Madden
MAYFIELD IS A FRACTION OF THE QUARTERBACK
AND YET HIS STATS ARE EQUAL, THE RECORD IS BASICALLY EQUAL AND THE BUCS ARE ON THE VERGE OF THE PLAYOFFS (where, if they get in they likely get CRUSHED . . just like Brady)
with no real change in talent
And you continue on with absolute shit. Again. Hope you enjoyed that wall of text that basically seems to say you hate Brady. Whatever, weirdo.
basically seems to say you hate Brady
don’t hate him at all. Think he’s incredible, but also human
and overstaying is hardly unusual. It’s the norm. Multiple great QBs ended their careers in less than stellar ways.
Hope you enjoyed that wall of text that basically seems to say you hate Brady
It was well documented last year. Nothing more than defense of Byron.
And, what's more comical is that if you mention anything about Bowles having his fingerprints on this year's offense, you'll get your usual "Wall of Posts" on how ridiculous that notion might be (despite stats to justify your argument). But, without a single shred of evidence, Brady was the one calling the shots in last year's offense according to the resident drunk.
Think about that one more time.
The GOAT...ran/orchestrated/called an offense that consisted of the same 5-6 plays...consisting of the same routes...consisting of the same personnel...in the same predictable order.
I mean, if that were the case, Byron would've had ZERO ISSUES finding a job.
Weird...
