More and more, I'm getting the feeling we are going to see if he can duplicate it next year.
He's 100% back next year if Bowles doesn't get canned.

thanks for preparing.
looks like Tom Brady, greatest to ever play the game, would rank #1. No surprise that this season also ended with a Super bowl victory
Mayfield looks like he would rank #2. In addition to numbers above, made playoffs, TBD on how the season ends.
Freeman #3
Winston #4
unfortunately for Freeman, the success of his first year was short lived as his next year was 4-11 record with 16 TDs and 22 INTs, following up the next year at 7-9 record until his final year at 0-3 record in Tampa before his tenure was ended.
and to be fair, we should list supporting cast
Freeman had Cadillac Williams, Arrelious Benn, Mike Wilson, and Kellen Winslow.
Winston had Doug Martin, Mike Evans, Vincent Jackson, and Luke Stocker
Brady had Leonard Fournette, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Antonio Brown, and Rob Gronkowski
Mayfield had Rachaad White, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Cade Otton.
makes Freeman's first full starting year quite impressive. 10-6 record, albeit a playoff miss, our best season for 10 years until the great Brady joined us.

But someone posted Baker had better stats than Brady. What stats would that be?

Great comparison. The young guys fall off the next year probably? Brady excels, of course
Next year would be tougher for Mayfield just based on schedule and film of the Bucs offense (if Canales stays) but film is the big difference already (besides Molly, hopefully lol) because Mayfield is a well known veteran, tons of film, more like Brady then the other new QBs. (He’s not Brady, just that the other QBs had no real film)
I think people refer to that 2010 season as the “miracle” season with Morris. Blount running hard! Youngry!

maybe they were referring to 2023 versus 2022. Nick Wright does it all the time on first things first. stupid analyst.
no way, anyone would think 2023 Baker can compare to 2020 or 2021 Brady MVP caliber seasons.

Glad you mentioned it (in bold).
So is anyone comparing Baker this season to Brady last year.
and to be fair, we should list supporting cast
If we're going to put an emphasis on that, then it's easily:
#1. Brady
#2. Freeman
#3. Baker
#4. Winston
Also, as mentioned in the previous post, Baker got an extra game vs. the others (16 game vs. 17 game season).
@donkey_hunter---from the previous page of this topic: POINT . . . there are reasonable, football-related ways to describe both his flaws and his skills, but most of the stuff posted here is hyperbolic, he's a completely incompetent REJECT . . . when his stats are better than Brady's and he's in the top of the league this year.

Again, look at the source of said post.

exactly, Baker has Trask holding the clipboard while Brady had Gabbert. Could you imagine if Trask was holding the clipboard for Brady? Man, that guy still be playing

Your obsession with Trask is creepy.
Promise us you won't go all Hinckley Jr./ Jodie Foster on us, okay?
Would be a great pick in the first roundBy that logic draft every duck o-line.
Powers-Johnson is an elite center. Let's grab him
