Draft Watkins at #7, explosive receiver and explosive KR, instead of bringing in Hester who is limited to just special teams. JMO
After he runs a 4.35 at the combine, he will be drafted by the Raiders.

Hester is past his prime. Thanks but no thanks.Personally, I hope he leaves them in his past. We don't need "ghosts" taking up roster spots.
So in other words, these likely targets are a return to the over-30 gang instead of improving the quality of our drafting?Check
Tillman would be a great pickup that would solidify our secondary easily as the #2 or nickel corner wherever we put him, i could see him being our charles woodson when he was with the packers

Unfortunately, the DeLorean is in the shop so we can't go back and change the quality of the drafts we've already run.On the other hand, we can still improve drafting in the future even if we sign some of these guys...
Tilman would be good for quality depth and perhaps a good mentor to JBanks. I think Banks could emulate Peanut given his skillset.
Personally, i would rather use a roster spot on a kick returner than a long snapper. Can't we cross train a backup lineman to longsnap? I might be naive on this one but Hester > EconomosAnd I know economos has been extremely reliable
add Lions LE/UT Israel Idonije to the list... was with Lovie in Chicago (2004-2012)in 2013, he was signed by Detroit for the veteran's minimum...had 51 quarterback disruptions in 2012, just three fewer than Jason Pierre-Paul.Idonije did his damage on 56 fewer pass-rush attempts. He can also stop the run from left end and rush from the inside on nickel downs. last three years with Lovie = 20.5 sacksgood value for backup duties, vet minimum $... could be a good mentor for Williams Gholston...
Right. We are just an overrated slot WR and washed up kick returner away from greatness. CROWN US! Seriously, Tillman is the ONLY guy on that list that I would be interested in. Hester is washed up. WTF is with the Zuttah hate? Zuttah would be a superstar on the Bears OL. Damn it watch the games people.
I'm curious about how much money Melton would demand on the open market. Former franchised player w/ good production vs injury and off field issue.
If you're asking for the Bucs...why do we need a more expensive William Gholston? The DE we need has to have jet packs and bring the wood...
So we have the mostly pointless Hester sucking down a roster spot.
I think you mean Jeff Demps.

2013 stats:Kickoff Returns avg: 27.6 Punt Returns avg: 14.2was with Dwayne Harris the best KR/PR in 2013... he's still a Top 5 return specialist!last year, Josh Cribbs got $1.25 million contract for one-year... wouldn't mind having Hester for the same $!
Please sir, may I have some Watkins?

People are on crack if they don't want Hester.
