Runnels RB Oklahoma6 200 Tyler Reed G Penn StateI highlighted a few names here to show their top picks but overall I'd say that there are not too many great picks here... Hopefully Lovie was not in charge of the drafting in Chicago.
Don't care about the individual success of each player. Fact is he was 81-63 with 3 division titles and a SB trip. Just 3 losing seasons out of 9. It's about the team not the players.
there were some other solid picks you missedMajor Wright was decentDanieal Manning was good when he got to Houston, don't know what happened in ChicagoJohnny Knox looked like he was going to be pretty good but he got derailed by a bad injuryCorey Wooton turned into a solid if unspectacular playerthey definitely didn't maximize their drafting value though and theres a bunch of headscratchers. the Shea McClellin pick never made sense and the Carimi pick was a really good one coming out of college, he fell apart when he got to the NFL. Stephen Paea was really good at Oregon State, I don't know why he hasn't done anything in the league
Mark AndersonZach BowmanCorey GrahamEarl Bennett.Josh MooreGood picks IMO
Wasn't Alshon Jeffery a rookie in 2013? I was under the impression that he was a rookie.
Two words.Jerry Angelo
Yep Jerry Angelo was horrid at some picks. Whiffed completely on offensive line picks - as in Gabe Carimi in 1st round.
They also lacked a 1st or 2nd in '09 and '10
Mark Anderson and Johnny Knox should be bolded. Injuries ruined them, but they were great talents.

Thought about bolding these two but the post wasn't about who was good... more about the lack of good players. I just didn't see anyone else make a post like this.

I haven't either, hopefully Lovie and Licht are a better tandem than Lovie and Angelo. Scouts have a heavy hand in it too, and Stokes seems to be a good talent evaluator from my understanding.Fingers crossed.

Alshon Jeffery missed his rookie season with an injury.
I remember when Josh Beekman was going to be our savior
It was painful reading through those draft classes.... and I thought ours were bad.

The best teams only get at most two real players in any average class. That's just the way it is.
