Bengals Waive K Jake Elliott

Elliott will be claimed by some team as there are many teams in need of a kicker in the NFL right now. Whether Tampa puts in a claim for him or not remains to be seen, however there's obviously no guarantee we end up with him even if we do. Should Licht put in a claim to continue to push Folk? Elliott has the potential to be a VERY good kicker for a long time for whatever team ends up with him. Other notable kickers who were waived today include former Texans kicker Nick Novak and former Giants kicker Mike Nugent.

Personally, if we did put a waiver claim in for anyone I'd like it to be Elliott as I think Folk is equally as good if not better than both NoVak and Nugent.
