If we trade down and possibly out of the 1st round who is our best trading partner?
I can't help but look at the Browns and the Bengals, both of whom have 11 picks. The Browns of course have the 1st pick of the 2nd and the Bengals have the 9th. We would have to get a 3rd and 4th round pick (AT LEAST) in return. Both teams have picks to spare and I'm sure the Bengals would love to have another pick in the first. If we swap with the Browns they would have 3 of the top 19 picks! Good trade for the Browns/Bengals and Bucs.
With the 1st or possibly even the 9th we could still draft Budda Baker (my personal choice for most impactful player). Then we would have 8 more picks for OL, TE, WR, and RB.
Thoughts?
