This was brought up in another thread that mentioned trading for Jalen Ramsey and I thought this was a great idea. I don’t think we can move our 1st solely due to the fact we have got to find a replacement for Dotson and it’s a huge position of need.
However if and I know there are 2 games between now and then but if we are able to beat NO today and Carolina again next week we could trade for PP and bring him in on a bye week. This wound be huge to bring him in on a bye week to get acclimated to the system. He’s got the Arians and Bowles connection. He’s older and wouldn’t require our 1st. He is scheduled to be a FA in 2021. He’s due $13M in 2020 but I’m sure that could be worked around.
If we are 4-2 going into our bye week I would FULLY support bringing PP onboard. We would have 2 more road games then we close out the year with 5 out of our last 8 at home and we could be in control of the division with wins against the saints and Panthers with 2 remaining games against the Falcons who are really struggling.
I hope Licht is on the phone. We need a guy that can hold up, shadow and defend the pass. We could give up maybe even a 3rd for him. Maybe a 2020 R3 and a 20201 R3...
We could make a playoff run with this team.
