Players do not control when they are picked. Hall was a Red Board bust in year one, mostly because of his draft status. Last year he was a valuable contributor
"After two rough seasons as a reserve and an occasional fill-in starter, it all came together for Hall in 2024. Hall had 28 tackles and 5.5 sacks last season – both are career highs. He showed impressive and improved pass rush moves, notching two sacks in a 36-30 loss at Atlanta, and added another 1.5 sacks at Los Angeles in a 40-17 win."
Worthy of his pick status? Maybe maybe not, but if a player is a "bust" by virtue of draft status that is most often on the team, not the player.
I think this is a contract year for Hall, so at least we know we should be seeing the best that he has to offer. Might be another surprise.
Putting injuries aside, I feel like there is a chance the offense might score so quickly that the defense doesnt get much time to rest in between series. And thats a good problem to have!
Ive been thinking all offseason of a better "top-4 WRs" on a single roster in NFL history and im having trouble thinking of any. Evans is a generational HOF WR, Godwin is also on pace to be close to wearing a gold jacket one day if he keeps up this pace, McMillan is a pro-bowl type talent and Egbuka looks like the sky is the limit. Then you have the dominant oline and the break out of Bucky, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if we had a top-3 offense this year.
I have us as the 2nd or 3rd best team in the NFC, behind the Eagles and maybe the Lions.
If I had to pick one thing to worry about, I guess its the pass rush and Reddick. He's such a wildcard, if he returns to form it would be huge for this defense.

Love Godwin, but he isn't sniffing Canton.
Yea, I know, the injuries have really hurt him, he wont end up with the stats to get in but raw talent, hes close to a HOFer IMO.
Roberts has to be the surprise X factor if he continues his ascent. It is not unheard of a rookie DB winning NCB and making it as an UDFA (eg Izien). But I think Roberts is more explosive like in the mold of Dwight Smith. I am eager to see Roberts, Parrish and Morrison fly around on that backend in pre season football.
Bullock and Jackson are another pair of UDFA rookies that can make waves. Especially Nick Jackson who at one point had a draft grade and his competition is Grier who is lowkey underrated. Jones and Walker are known players with Jones being able to go sideline to sideline and drop into coverage. And Walker who is known for the ability to flow downhill and time hitting those gaps perfectly.
After pre season game 1 I think Roberts and Parrish are making the NCB starting gig really interesting. Wouldn't surprise me to see both split times at NCB during the regular season.
Bullock and Jackson showed some heads up plays in the pre season game last night. Jackson definitely is bewildering that he was not drafted but the local scout that vouched for Bullock and Jackson is looking like an Ace. I am sure Licth had a hand in looking at both players over but they both seem like glove fits in this scheme. Tough, fast, rangy, and very smart LBs. Not sure why Walker Jr or even Jones are on the roster at this point other than experience.

If Parrish is healthy, he’s yielding little time to Roberts.
Roberts is a safety and special teamer for the most part though. I'm impressed with some of the UDFAs and a good handful might make the team even with this supposedly deep roster, but they aren't going to see the field much in the except for special teams. If they do see the field it's because of injuries, so lets hope that doesn't happen. Chukwuma, Majors, Roberts. Houston was a UDFA for the Cowboys last year. Nick Jackson made that nice INT. I guess its good if UDFAs make the team? Or not good? It shows some good homework being done by Licht if UDFAs are making a team thats supposed to compete for the NFC title, but it's not good if they are pressed into service and get overrun by experienced foes. But I think it's OK if we get excited about those UDFAs Licht signed this time. After pre season game 1 I think Roberts and Parrish are making the NCB starting gig really interesting. I'm seeing more talk about the Bucs amongst the talking heads on ESPN. And I saw where Jon Gruden was asked which team would win the Super Bowl this season and his pick was the Bucs. And Sports Illustrated looked at every team's schedule and forecast their season records --- the Bucs are forecast as the #1 seed in the NFC at 12-5. The Bills and Ravens are forecast as the top AFC teams each at 12-5. I was hoping the Bucs would quietly sneak up on the rest of the NFL, but there's a bit of a buzz about them gathering some steam.
Braswell is likely a bust. He looks slow and lost. At least JTS was getting to the QB at points just not finishing. Braswell is not even sniffing QBs
