And Sando is right according to the first no voter to come forth

"

Gregorian has explained that, if the process entailed (as it did not very long ago) a simple up-or-down vote for Belichick, Gregorian would have voted for the six-time Super Bowl winner. Because, however, the current process required Gregorian (and the other voters) to narrow the selections to three from a list that included Belichick, Robert Kraft, Ken Anderson, Roger Craig, and L.C. Greenwood, Gregorian omitted Belichick. And Kraft.

Gregorian voted for Anderson, Craig, and Greenwood, the three finalists nominated by the seniors committee."

OK right there - Gregorian is obviously using his vote to protest against the rules, or he knows Belichick will get in eventually and these three might not ever get in with the rules how they are.  So he's not voting for the most deserving. He's playing games and so did some others.  They're playing games with the system.  They should not only lose their vote, they should kick them out and have a re-vote.  No one in their right mind would legitimately pick any of those other guys over Belichick.

yet 20% did

He was not describing playing with the vote. He was describing making a choice under the circumstances. Players over coaches, Seniors over someone who can get in again.

I think you said earlier that couldn't be the case? There mere fact that Biggs and I were pointing to the same thing should have told you it was! LOL, as rare a thing as you might find.

Kidding aside, what difference does it ultimately make?  There is a HOF.  That seems to not be enough for many so then there are discussions about WHEN someone got in?  Or may the HOF makes a mini "room of fame" for the best of the best HOFers?

ahh, now it makes sense, when Trask Force proclaims "no one in their right mind" and then seeing Gregorian's political slant in this article; it all adds up now :)

obviously would be very difficult to "prove" but you're a pretty smart guy; would you surmise those that didn't vote for Belichick lean more to the right or left?

again, this i all speculation but just trying to see how "honest" we can be with one another; knowing Belichick's political history as well with a certain president.

Well this thread went totally off the rails of reality.  Not surprising.  It is offseason on the Red Board after all.

Belichick as a proxy for Trump? LOL, I doubt that.  I assume Kraft is a Trump supporter and the second voter said he didnt vote for Belichick because he voted FOR KRAFT

Especially because the outrage now seems misplaced.  Voting system, not a message.

Yeah it's the deep state Soros fund that kept Belichick out of the first ballot.

Always the victim. Everything is rigged. Crying constantly even when you win.

Pathetic mindset for mental midgets.

Btw Kraft is in the Epstein files...

Referring to those that kept Bill from being 1st ballot?

Yes, I agree.

so if your post was a=an honesty test then one question for you:

How did the 2026 Belichick HOF story bring you to an article from 2016 about Evans protesting Trump?

No I'm referring to those that keep whining about about shit being rigged because of politics or whatever other crap then decide is real or fake based on their bubble.

That isn't you to be clear...

And as you know I think it's absolute shit that Bill wasn't first ballot. The "politics" of it isn't left/right Dem/GOP. It's the politics of football and optics.

The one dude voted for Kraft who again is in the Epstein files. That's a far bigger scandal than spy gate so the logic is obviously flawd.

There's no need to go down this rabbit hole. His politics and agenda are obvious. Gotta play that victim over and over.

I know you weren't lumping me in there, bud.

And, yes, we're both on the same page about Bill not being first ballot.

Fucking comical that there are some low-IQ dipshits on Twitter saying "yeah, but he'll still get in, so it's not a big deal".

As if being a 1st ballot HOF'er isn't something special.
