man utd is about 2 bil in debt as well. And talks of a new stadium
To be fair they paid $1.4 using the teams own money and it's gotta be worth $6 billion and that is before a much needed new stadium and all the $ it brings in. Second biggest club on the planet and they are responsible for much of that.
crap on the field though. Never the sane since Ferguson retired
It makes sense that Bowles wouldn't be in the group of coaches fired today but there's this weird outsized anger at him. Most of the coaches fired today had recent profound failure, a couple years of bad performance or in the case of Carroll the worst team in football.
as much as everyone here discounts it Bowles is a 3 time division champ who up until this season was 10-2 in December, when football matters. Should be be the coach next season? Probably not. Should he be flogged in the town square? Uh no.
this team was picked to go to superbowl by Pete prisco and nick wright. We started year 6-2.
just when we were getting our guys back against easy part of schedule, we go 2-4 in 6 games we are favored in and barely win the two games
I like Todd the person, but this is a team, one you and I post on a message board every damn day. They won in spite of him these years. It is what it is
time to move on
Unfortunately, He isn't going anywhere gang.
I really thought we might see it today given the magnitude of the collapse but not even a peep.
We are going to be stuck with him so lets hope someone brings in a good OC and DC and let them take over calling.
I think my interest will be low next year if we keep bowles. Not a super bowl team with him leading the team.
not firing him today doesn't mean they keep him. Gruden is fired three weeks after the season

time to move on to keep some of you girls from springing a leak. I've never seen so many hyper emotional dudes all because ... Bowles didn't get fired today. Lmao. Chill
what if they keep him? You guys will all be slitting your own throats.
hes just a coach. Just a coach. The Bucs will survive

yaya Diaby basically has digged Bowles grave in terms of his incompetence. Saying he didn’t have the team ready in so many words with too many walk thrus
it’s malpractice. Time to move on.
to let him talk to the public as an ex employee means he’s not an ex employee
id be pleasantly surprised if they move on. Hope I’m wrong but letting him talk today was a bit disheartening.

His talk today was a routine end of season press conference that every coach has. The only difference is that is was moved because of the falcons game impacting the outcome.
Hes not an ex employee he's the head coach at the moment.
I have no idea what you guys are even on about any more. Dusty threw Bowles under the bus? The quote I saw from Diaby was about players? Maybe I missed it
and another 2 off the record.
lol you can't help yourself
Literally tweeted by a producer from WFLA, you fucking waste of space.
DH you protested (whined like a bitch)about my asking you to name the source of your anonymous "optics" post and when I told you why I posted - as you requested - no alternate explanation from you ... so you can't be that level of coward and then call someone else a waste of space lmao
post the tweet?
(we know how this is going to end)

I literally gave you the explanation in my response.
You ignored it, because you were too busy throwing around race cards like the pussy you are.

The tweet is from Rhett Matthew with WFLA.
Look it up yourself, Vin.
As predicted no explanation. No tweet.
you should be embarrassed but as you like to say
moving on lol

"Beyond Yaya and Jamel Dean’s locker room comments, two players said off the record that walkthroughs are directly causing coverage busts and players being out of position. Damning stuff."

There's the tweet, you lazy sack of shit.

not lazy just appropriately distrustful of you and Biggs. Appropriately. You two are serial bs artists and trolls. Blame yourselves
post the link or your lying (again) it's easier to post the link then to type the quote.
And that explanation? ????
No way to defend the HC after this debacle. The offense was loaded attendant the season - but the OC didn’t know what to do with the loaded talent when it counted. Grizz want up for the task.It makes sense that Bowles wouldn't be in the group of coaches fired today but there's this weird outsized anger at him. Bowles defense had no answers at the end of the season - and he was supposed to have “figured it out” (his quote) prior to the season.
He also had a .500 record in a really bad division.
I respect him, heck, most of us wish he had a better outcome. But his game management decisions still aren’t good, he goes into his shell offensively and gambles on his defense at the worst possible times.
He isn’t growing or changing. It’s time to move on.
i also am beginning to wonder if he’s not being given time to ponder whether he wants to do this anymore. When asked, he never said he was determined to figure out what was wrong with his team. If the Glazers had told him he was safe, it seems like he would have acted more confidently during the presser- he didn’t. Don’t think it’s an open and shut case.
Coukd be the Glazers are trying to save some money by letting him resign/retire (obviously they would owe him his whole contract if he’s fired) - but I think they really like him - so it’s not that.
I could just be doing wishful thinking - but the whole presser seemed off.
