Sigh Harbaugh and Kingsbury

Stack the front 7 in the draft and FA

Extend Baker with a modest contract

Resign Evans team friendly 1 year deal then dead cap it forward

New special teams unit

Make Tampa a dome

Let Bowles sit in the front office

Don't think the Kingsbury/Baker marriage would go weill.

What am I missing?

Texas Tech

i am being sarcastic but just laughable that the two top coordinator candidates of course had issue with Baker.

i am with you on the Harbaugh-Monken train by the way.  If Todd isn't let go today, not sure what we are doing.

and grant it, we aren't guaranteed to get Harbaugh as maybe he sits out a year, or chooses a team like NYG or ATL but holy heck, but one would think we'd be a solid team to want to coach, unless Baker regressed so much that they are like...ehhh

John Harbaugh’s agent heard from at least one team that doesn’t have a coaching vacancy

clearly wasn't us, many are suggesting the Dolphins

to think it would be Harbaugh or...nah we will stick with Bowles is laughable.  this team just was sticking with Bowles from the start.

2022 - missed expectations

2023 - exceeded expectations

2024 - met expectations

2025 - missed expectations

not many people maintain high level jobs in the corporate world with that performance review

You realize that your "performance review" is against external expectations, right?  It should be easy enough to see the team NOT having the same expectations in 2022 and certainly not holding Bowles accountable for 2022. And then 2023 and 2024 the team is probably thrilled to be in the playoffs twice.  Not even "probably" Licht basically said as much in 2024.

Just pointing out there is a reasonable alternative view of the world. That alternate view is why I said there is a path.

we will all know soon enough.

the Bucs won Superbowl in 2020, had a franchise high 13 wins in 2021; they brought back the nucleus in 2022 minus a few key players.  100% they expected to have another winning season in 2022 and compete for a championship.  and judging by the firing of the entire staff, yeah he missed expectations in 2022 by everyone - Glazers, Licht, fanbase

2023 with a playoff win - credit where credit is due

2024 with more wins!  BUT.....lost a home playoff game where you were favored in...had to be at best a meets expectations

2025 - well...come on man....

lol . . yeah . . . a championship season always begins with a former SB head coach stepping aside   ..  in March and dropping a DC in as a HC at the end of March.

And if that didnt do it . ..  Brady skipping camp and going to Kraft's wedding . .  screamed world champs! And wasnt it Bowles who them fired the staff.  Youre saying he shuld have kept LEFTWICH?

If your'e unable to see that its possible that your expectations might not be the real expectations then sure the last 3 years are all disasters.  Just saying its possible (probable?) the owners do NOT see it the same way.

I’m guessing Harbaugh will want to hand-pick his GM wherever he goes. Or at least work with someone he has a previous relationship with. Not sure he and Licht have ever crossed paths

I didnt expect 2021 or 2020 and I did expect the dysfunction. The dysfunction part was obvious, but largely ignored because of the Brady GOAT stuff.

Tell definitely not going to claim I called the results but I figured something like the early playoff exit. Tom Brady was till some version of Tom Brady, but the 2022 team just like the 2025 team was broken, the former having nothing to do with Bowles the latter being ON Bowles.

Gronk declined to come back so he saw it too. Everyone did. We started the season by crushing the Cowboys RUNNING the ball, end ed it against the same Cowboys with Brady throwing it 66 times.
