The entire Patriots offense stunk today.
He didn't ball out of control on the 5 carries he got today, so that means he sucks and what he did the rest of the season doesn't matter. The funny thing is, if anyone used this same line of logic against Mike Glennon, all of the morons in this thread bashing Blount would be throwing a bitch fit. lolz!
He only got 5 carries because he is still useless when a team falls behind and has to go heavy with the pass.He can't pass block , and he sucks out in the passing game .He's still the one trick pony he always was. An occasional home run hitter against a tired defense . That is it. He's nothing special. Glad to have the well-rounded RB's we have now.

You would think our fan base would know better. Any given day, Blount is just as likely to blow up for 200 yards or 20 yards. He still has problems in pass protection and catching the ball out of the backfield. Was BB able to squeeze more production out of him than Schiano? Well of course...because one is a mediocre college coach and the other is an elite NFL coach. That doesn't mean Blount is any better than he was when he was in Tampa.
He is running much better than he did while in Tampa. Especially in short-yardage. That much is undeniable.

A HoF coach finally got into his head and convinced him that he needed to lower his pad level at the LOS. Im glad he is getting a chance to shine somewhere else, but he is still a very one dimensional RB. I'm perfectly happy with our RBs.
