I did get it...I got that the majority of people who voted for a player having a good month over a guy having a HoF career just shows the level of actual football knowledge that exists in this forum.I was just using that as an example to support YOUR point that obviously he isnt garbage but that posters here (and most msg boards) go a little over the top with their opinions. Blount is a good one trick pony, but he is still a one trick pony.
Here it is in simple form: just as it is silly to say Blunt sucks for one performance in a playoff game, its equally silly to say he is great for the one performance in a playoff game . . . even sillier to assume that Blount playing in one or two games for Belichick and Brady and the Patriots this year . . . is the Blount that the Bucs traded last year or the Blount that he was "destined" to become playing for Schiano . . and Freeman . . . and the Bucs. Blount is not that great, he is good but has limitations. Also, players change as their circumstances change .. . crazy as it sounds . . a LAST chance with Bellichick and the Patriots is a little different than a first chance with Raheem Morris and the Bucs.

Blount is not a feature back .. that's the point .That was proven yet again as he disappeared from the Pats plan as soon as they fell behind. He's just an average and one-dimensional player who we do not need because we have a very good running back core without him. Blount has a great game. He is the best RB in the league.Blount has a bad game. He sucks.He is a solid middle of the road RB that the Bucs do not miss.
Whenever an ex Bucs player does anything the forum goes nuts over it and complain why we didn't keep him. I just think when they aren't on our team anymore they don't deserve any attention. Unless they are a John Lynch caliber player.
