Id take Blount and having that 1st round pick back though.
Hmmm........
Someone needed to say it and yeah. Alshon Jeffrey? Coby Fleener? Cordy Glenn? Bobby Wagner?
Grown man or not, this is a job where you have a boss. And when your boss is a jerk it's unlikely that the average person wants to work hard for them. Players LIKE Belicheat, so they'll go that extra mile for him.I'm sure many of us have had a job where there were multiple managers or asst managers above us. Why put in effort for Jeremy? He's a jerk. But David? David's friggen awesome, of course I'll stay 30 minutes late to help him out.
So every coach he has ever had is a jerk? Is Byner a jerk too? David didn't seem unable to perform. VJ either. Martin was fine. That is such a cop out. He said he should have listened to his coaches. Did players like Belicheat in Cleveland or did they just start liking him in NE and especially when Brady became the QB?
Who the hell is he? I never claimed that players underperformed for Schiano, but that it's human nature to go the extra mile for someone they like.
After all... they did it in 2011.
Lawl. The reasons for everyone getting lazy during Rah's reign aren't due to likability. Try again ;0
My point... /blue
I don't follow. /dark orange

Martin over Blount is a no brainer. ...and also , call me crazy , but James is who we basically traded for Blount , and I even like him better . He's not the homerun hitter, but a more well rounded player- good hard runner, but blocks and catches well also.He was balling before he broke his foot , and between him , Rainey , and Martin no one should give a shlt about Blount anymore. The only ones who do are the people who want to say " I told you so . "
Id take Blount and having that 1st round pick back though.

Because those guys are exactly who we would have taken instead. And it's not like we ended up with a bum either.

I'm not saying the Bucs shouldn't have picked Martin, but he's been eligible for 32 games and only gone over 100 yards rushing in a game six times. Everyone knows running backs have the shortest careers of any position and get hurt at a rate as high or higher than any other position. Those are the risks for the reward of an immediate gratification position where players generally know what to do when they get into the league.

When you dream about jetpacks do they always explode?

If you have a point to make, then make it/purple.with.a.hint.of.grey
We are not really hurting at RB though.I'd still take Doug Martin over Blount.
Very true but just imagine if Schiano had been able to look past his prejudices and Blount was our starter. What would have the Bucs done with that pick they used on Doug Martin. Bobby Wagner, Alshon Jeffery, Janoris Jenkins could've been Bucs.
So for everyone who thinks Talib and Blount aren't doing anything for the Patriots, .
Someone said they aren't doing anything? Do tell, but the Patriots seemed to do fine without Blount during much prior to the past couple of games ......

Seriously. I mean Blount was buried at the bottom of their depth chart for most of the year , yet the Blount Smokers on here act like he equals AP's value to the Vikes. Lol

No. HE. I realize you mean Blount now, but got dang it, Bobby. You're missing the point COMPLETELY just to argue.
I don't know what it is, but I love watching that big MF run with ball.
