Neither of the two midgets we have could hold Blount's jock strap. BOOM!!
Fumbling Blount wouldn't be able to hold his own jock strap. And I bet the two midgets will convert on more 3 and 1's than 250 lbs Blount ever has for us.
Blount has exactly 1/3 as many td's as James has total carriescarries ( 20 - 60 )and he's scored an infinite number more td's than James ( 20-0 ). The numbers don't lie. I've got to admit it, James is clearly the superior back and we made the right choice. Blount never stood a chance fellas. Face it,
Wasn't what he wanted. Schiano wanted a 3 down back. That's not Blount.
Right, so you admit that his not being good wasn't why he was let go. It's because Schiano could not envision the value of a relief back that averages over 4.6 ypc. Now, to me, that's kinda an asset that's silly to blow off, Remember, there wasnt anything close to an either or scenario going on with these guys.
I never said he wasn't any good. You can't have a relief back that needs 25 carries to get to that 4.6 yards a carry average. Tinkle toes Blount isn't that change of pace guy that's going to make hay on limited carries. He'll break one eventually but the work up take a while sometimes and that's not what relief backs do.
In 153 carries this season ( less than 10 per game ) he managed 772 yards, 5.0 ypc and 7 TD's. How is that not what relief backs do again?
Does that count the last two games where he was the primary back carrying the ball?
I just crunched the numbers and if youalso exclude the games where the day ended in the letter y Blount totally blew. I knew the truth was hidden in there if I just took the time to look. ;)Just funning with you. I know where you're coming from but I'm not convinced it's the case though I hope it is. Anyway, it's been fun discussing this with all of you. Fun times Unfortunately I can't stay up like I used to. Night gentlemen!

Good debate sir
Does anyone think we got fair value for Blount?
Does anyone think we got fair value for Blount?
HELL NO WE DIDNT. We should have at least got Gronk back. Dom really screwed the pooch on that trade. Who the hell trades away a unused 3rd string back to a team that really didn't need him for a world class sprinter and a low round draft pick.

Who trades a 3rd string RB for a runner and a 7th round pick? People who are clueless when evaluating talent and too lazy to put in the work to change the player for the better.

Yea!!!! where is that guy?
lol.
How many TD passes does Blount have in his career ?? Try ZERO !!BOOM !
how is that? We gave them a couple of guys that are playing well for them and they are in the AFC championship game once again while the Bucs went 4-12. You are providing a pretty good example as to how dumb Buc fans are.
anyone who thinks blount--talib is anywhere near as important as brady is an idiot in my book. and its fine that you think that makes me a dumb fan.

Of course not but we were lucky to pick up James. I even think we could have gotten something for Freeman considering we were still paying him.
What Hate said and then add Leonard....I want my Blount back. Only player in ages who made me sit up and run up and down the living room shouting....except for Manzeil and Tebow before him. I mean Leaping over blockers?????? Puleez give me my Blount back.....

Agree, except for the Tebow and JFF part.Blount is a joy to watch toting the rock. Your not tackling him with no frekin arm tackle.
