I am happy with my original post lol
Of course you are, as you are completely and utterly shameless.
Lolz @ "Bowles does more with less"
and even this post has you calling me shameless when anger has now TWICE sent you to bump this same post BOTH times EDITING out the context of the early in the season timing and the caveats
The team still has a long way to go, but it is pretty hard to say at this point that the team is NOT well coached.
Can all change quickly,
yowza
get a grip

So Buggys let me show you something. This post above ^^^^ is your regular thing, going back in time and calling up something that someone else posted that YOU PERCEIVE TO BE WRONG.
It is your routine, most common post. . . the BUMP POST. Its the core of who you are as a poster.
THIS is what happens when you are given even a TINY .. . tiny . . dose of your own medicine. This is HOW YOU RESPOND:
If the point of this is to highlight how little you know and/or how big of a pussy you are, we are in agreement. Otherwise, try attacking the task at hand.
Don't worry. Everybody here knows you don’t have chops to back up your stance that Atlanta, Houston, and now Indy is the better, more talented team. You simply don’t have the required football acumen to complete the task or the required shame to admit it. Instead, you shamelessly bump your ignorance and cowardice.
Between all the spitting, profane rage (lmao) you even threw in a completely bogus strawman:
you don’t have chops to back up your stance that Atlanta, Houston, and now Indy is the better, more talented team.
and you call other people loons?
truth nothing but the truth

“
Tannenbaum went on to talk about how Bowles has done so much with less this season, referencing the Bucs’ $70 million in unavailable salary cap entering this season because of debt racked up during the Tom Brady era. He also talked about how Bowles and playcaller Dave Canales took Baker Mayfield from barely beating out Kyle Trask in August to his status as a quality starter peaking at the right time.”
Well they have to finish the season strong but the Bucs and Rams are making a strong case for doing more with less despite cap woes. But I am honestly more impressed with Canales more so than Bowles. Canales has a mish mash OL with a lot of inexperience on the right side and with Wirfs switching sides. White is very inexperienced but is starting to find his groove as an all purpose back Otton is young along with Kieft and Durham and Palmer is flying under the radar with a solid rookie year.
For Canales to fully run his offense he definitely needs another two way TE to pair with Otton and another RB to pair with White. Adding another OL to upgrade LG would be the icing on the cake. A lot of draft resources have gone onto the defensive side of the ball so the offense is long overdue for an injection of youth.
wouldn't be calling Bowles safe yet. Losing the next 3 games and his ass is gone.
at 4-7, he was on thin ice
barely edged out a victory against the Panthers at home. Hardly an impressive win.
Took Baker being clutch in the Falcons game to come back and win that, that game was 10 seconds longer, we likely lose
Impressive Green Bay win, arguably our most complete game sans the Saints game, but how often is our QB going to throw 4 touchdowns with a perfect passer rating and that game was very much in doubt until 4th quarter.
all three remaining games are very much winnable but given this team are also very much losable. Sure, if we play like we did last 2 weeks, i think we are in good shape but there's only one guy that makes me lose confidence - Todd Bowles.
bowles is awful.
people also forget that he is teh one who called the worst play in bucs history!
this way or another, we must urgently get rid of him!!!

yeah not a good head coach by any stretch. a good defensive coordinator minus that Rams call
i think if they make the playoffs, he's back another year 100% whether with 8, 9, or 10 wins; wont matter.
the expectations were not high this year and the team currently is exceeded them.
i think the only way he gets fired is if they lose out 7-10. with potentially no jaguars starting QB, the 2 win Panthers on the docket; that would be a failure for sure

This is probably right. Good football acumen.
They have a bit of a dilemma on their hands because Canales' offense is really coming on and you can tell that he has the offensive players' attention and respect. If they let Bowles go, Canales likely goes too UNLESS they bring in a first-time HC

Agreed.
IMO, the addition of Canales negates the “doing more with less” narrative.
The A22 from the Packers game is simply a work of art.
The route combos from Evans and Godwin were elite. The way the middle of the field (intermediate and deep) was worked, was unlike what we’ve seen at any point this year.
The way he exploited the zone and 2 high coverage with intermediate and deep seams were reminiscent of BA.
And, kudos to Baker for finally taking advantage of it consistently throughout the game.
Hell, on the Evans TD, Baker had 3 wide open guys to throw to for layup TD’s.
Far cry from the clown show we had last year at OC.
Hell, on the Evans TD, Baker had 3 wide open guys to throw to for layup TD’s.
I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen anything like that in the NFL. In college a few times, yes. But not the NFL.

Big hints of McVay with that one.
Which, ironically enough, was somewhat referenced when Dave was mentioning Waldron in his presser.
This is one reason why the Bucs my have dilemma (ie should want to keep Canales, but may be unsure about Bowles)
"Tampa Bay is allowing the most passing plays of 20 or more yards per game (4.2)."
His defense is not great and that is his thing
Is it easier though to fix a defense?
Licht on Bowles
”
Even if the season stopped right now, what’s made this so much fun is it required everybody. Yeah, okay, we had a great draft. But the coaching staff and Todd (Bowles) were really put in a kind of bad position, taking over a team last year that still had Brady but knowing we’re going to be in this position, having to pay our debts.
“It’s a tough position, but they’ve done a great job. Really, everybody has done a great job.”

but I don’t think last year was a tough position. They lost 3 guys from retirement - AB, Gronk, and Marpet.
lost 2 guys to old age - Suh and JPP
but they attempted to replace most through signings and trades - Gage, Mason, Hicks, Julio (AB 2.0)
now those signings didn’t work out but it wasn’t because of cap situation
Bucs underperformed in 2022 big time. A mixture of Bowles, Leftwich, shit offensive line, and Brady all to blame.
This year, I’d argue Bowles would put into a much worse situation.
first going from the GOAT to a guy who’s been on 4 teams in 365 days.
then taking all of Brady’s cap hit in the season with $35M hit and $75 million overall dead cap space in 2023.
biggest free agent signing was who? Greg Gaines lol?
guys like gage and Jensen out for year. Top picks and players such as White, Shaq, and JTR not performing on defense. Guys like Dean and Davis playing every other game.
Bucs already exceeded expectations with 8 wins but now those expectations have risen. Bowles wins 1 more game and they make playoffs, dude somehow losing 6 of 7 would likely get a vote or 2 for coach of the year (ain’t that some shit!)
