He's the DC and his pass D is beyond pathetic! Of course this franchise known as the Buccaneers has always had a problem winning against rookie quarterbacks. I don't know they're exact record but I know it's pretty sad. I am sick and tired of watching teams convert 3rd and long every single week. Disgusting.
he wont be part of the rebuild
Raiders fired their retread after 1.5 seasons
Will they go to Canales? I mean offense put up some points today.
who calls the defense tho
It doesn't matter who calls the defense because anything has to be better than what I've watched so far this year
his pass defense was always awful. today carlton helped make it non existing, can‘t get worse than this
keep bowles until season end, get very high pick and then part with him
Unfortunately, they'll most likely roll with him the remainder of the season.
Good news, is that it's HIGHLY UNLIKELY he's back for the rebuild.
4 losses in a row and this one in brutal meltdown fashion
if this doesn’t spell lockerroom lost I don’t know what does…
guess I need to provide a news link
You fire him now to show the fanbase that you actually give a shit. But, that's if you actually give a shit, the Glazers do not. Pocketing tens of millions in profits each season regardless of how the team performs. This franchise, from top to bottom, is a disaster. No accountability, no standards.
I think glazers likely to wait for a few reasons, in no particular order
1) Bowles was DC that won them a Super Bowl, dominating chiefs
2) backlash of firing him too soon, civil rights (not getting political please just saying this will be a factor. Known as a protected class in the corporate world)
3) they are still paying him and unless they view Canales as a potential head coach they likely wait
4) how would other future head coaches look at Bowles only being given 1.5 years? Seems a bit harsh
Like I said, they will probably let him ride out year but at 5-12, 6-11; they can’t possibly accept that
we just better hope Mike evans forgives them and signs a deal or could be absolutely no one going to the games
In today’s NFL there is no excuse to give up 470 passing yards, and that was to a rookie. This was embarrassing. It all comes down to coaching.
@badabingbucs he dominated a Chiefs team that had no offensive line starters playing to protect Mahomes also. I'm not buying it that "he" beat the Chiefs. This pass defense is absolutely terrible. Nearly 500 yards to a rookie? Sickening!
The defense was poorly last year, but everyone focused on the offense
the defense has been mostly poor this year (except RZ) but th focus has been the offense.
Postgame Bowles sounded lik a guy who knew he lost his job.
I mentioned in the comments of the article PR just posted. I’m also going to post here because I’d like to hear others thoughts. The commentators mentioned that Bowles before the game stated that they practiced fundamentals and technique this week at practice. Then during his post game press conference that poor fundamentals and technique were to blame for the loss.

i mean you don’t have to tell me. Bowles doesn’t deserve this job. He lost the locker room and they need to move in a different direction
but for those from afar, the resume shows; defense dominated chiefs in Super Bowl. The same chiefs who have steam rolled the NFL the last 5 + seasons otherwise.
then, as ugly as it was, he won the division and made playoffs last year in his first season as head coach. Again, underachieved per expectations but resume shows made playoffs
This year will result in a 6-11 season at best but expectations were what with this team?! That’s the right Vegas had us at like 6 wins.
we can only hope Bowles is fired but the unthinkable may happen….they keep this bozo even after a 6 win season!
Flush Todd "The Toilet" Bowles, he's a turd at best just floating and stinking up the room.
