Glazes are the worst ownership group in all of professional sports.
ha I could see that from ManU fans, but they delivered two SBs to Bucs fans
Malcolm Glazer was a good owner, his children are not and that's who I'm referring to.
"Bucs vice president Joel Glazer called Davis at his home around 10 p.m. on Feb. 17, 2002. The two talked for about 30 minutes, and the Bucs reiterated their interest in Gruden."

I don't know why the players are screwing up but why didn't the coaches make adjustments. When people say "lack of effort" it's not that the players aren't trying. It's that they become overwhelmed and discouraged because what they're doing isn't working very well. Bowles and his staff didn't seem to have a unique game plan for the Falcons. These last two games were not examples of the coach just totally screwing up. It has been the players, but I'll just call the in-game coaching "uninspired".
One small example of uninspired coaching is the fact that they didn't call a timeout on 3rd and 28 or 4th and 14. They could have made sure Vildor and others were on the right page. They didn't. They weren't.
but why are the players screwing up. the defense has much more talent in 2025 than it did in 2024 and somehow it's worse
Bowles isn't getting fired. He's quitting. Week by week he fails to come up with any new wrinkles or surprises for an underperforming defense. He stated, "There is more football behind me than ahead of me." That's an admission that his age is a factor.

Respectfully that's not it at all. Just look at Jamel Dean or at McCollum. Both with declined performance when they are paid, better performance when playing for the next pay day.
it's the coaches job to deal with that but their substandard play is not because they are overwhelmed it's because they are fat and happy. Note that both Bowles and Mayfirld are talking about practice and prep.
He stated, "There is more football behind me than ahead of me." That's an admission that his age is a factor.
Or an honest statement that he's not throwing the players under the bus to save himself because he's close to retiring anyway.
you should see on the field exactly what he's talking about. Just watch the last game and focus on Reddick and watch his "effort" to tackle.

I'm not sure what purpose your quote serves. Malcolm told one of his sons to make a phone call? It's called delegation. Did you think Malcolm sat in an office and did every single thing himself? Who do you think was making the decisions?
As for your Culverhouse comment, again, I have no clue what you even mean by it. My last thread stated that this team is fools gold, which it objectively is and that is now proven, and that clearly an ulterior motive is in place to keep Bowles around. That's also clearly true. When do teams let young, promising coaches go? Especially back to back seasons when the current HC is on his way out even if it's just to retire. That doesn't happen. Canales and Coen don't check the right box, Bowles does. Your ability to understand what's going on here is the issue. Try harder.
My last thread stated that this team is fools gold
Your last thread stated that Bowles was basically hired because he was black, right?
The purpose of the quote was that its a fiction that the sons are bad, dad was good.
You guys have been shitting on Bowles for 3 years, he finally snaps on the players and you criticize him.
The roster isn’t good this year. OL has been beat to shit, WRs aren’t healthy until Week 15, David fell off a cliff, Dennis is a flop, Reddick is a half flop.
Edge rush is abysmal. Kancey out the whole year. Barton can’t play. This is a Licht problem.
I mean the biggest issue is corner play, things are given to easy for the NFL DBs. When I watch us give up plays and chunks it looks like a college defense out there where guys are doing the right thing but they arent doing it at high level. Its like stagnation and lack of development
I've gone in depth a few times of how the corners are playing their technique
but there is also some facets of understanding offensive routes and spacing that should make throws harder for qbs when players are in zone. I just dont feel guys are teaching guys and sometimes when things happen they need to be told immiediately so they can start to get it.
this will be hard to follow but....
For example there was a negative play with dennis in cover 3 vs the saints, dennis is playing hook zone (4 receiver set trips left? foggy memory) he doesnt carry his receiver when there is no threat of anything shallow receiver gets 15(first drive of game). LVD has to tell the younger player "hey man you have to carry that receiver instead of looking back at the qb because the 1st receiver ran a vert 2nd receiver went to the flat, and the rb is on the opposite side of the formation" There is no threat of anything coming shallow so you have to turn and run. THese are things that players need to tell each other to get better in the moment, it isnt belittling its helping each other get better
In NFL circles respect is had in the lockerroom when a guy gets a big contract. When a guy that gets paid isn't trying his hardest, getting bored, losing focus it sends a message to the entire team that its ok to lose focus to not try hard, because they are still gonna get paid. So its up to the coaches to hold those highly paid players even more accountable more blame and coached even harder because now it lets all the young guys and less paid players know that there is a standard and more responsibility comes with that money.
Players are to be blame because the teams culture is based on player ran culture, but you need those guys who can hold people accountable and are willing to be the bad guy(JPP,Brady)
Barton can’t play.
This is more of your usual poor analysis, especially with offensive linemen.
I keyed in on Barton on the second half. He was very, very good. I don’t think he had one negative play. Give me the quarter and timestamp of all of his negative plays. I know the other guy shits on Barton because he has a hard-on for JPJ, a guy that couldn’t stay at Center and can’t stay healthy, but yours is just example #254 of shitty analysis.
Your continued defense of Bowles is precious, though. Poor fella keeps getting fed crappy defensive players by that meanie Jason Licht.

It happens to too many players, not just Dennis. It’s like they haven’t been told Zone turns into Man after a few seconds. If a guy crosses on your zone, pick his ass up. This shit isn’t hard, but we see it every friggin’ week. At some point, it stops being on the player.

Have JTS, Kancey, Hall and Braswell been good picks? That’s two 1s and two 2s.
As for Barton, start with the second play of the game.
As for Barton, start with the second play of the game.
First play - ran right behind Barton for 11: +1
Second play - Lost leverage, but held up: -1
All players lose reps. Even Wirfs lost a handful on Thursday.
But I said second half. Give me the timestamps.
Have JTS, Kancey, Hall and Braswell been good picks? That’s two 1s and two 2s.
I feel so bad for Todd Bowles having Jason Licht stuff these shitty players down his throat, without any input whatsoever.
Bowles sucks let's not lose sight of that. Roster isn't ideal but let's not be fooled by how bad Bowles is.
