Glazes are the worst ownership group in all of professional sports.
ha I could see that from ManU fans, but they delivered two SBs to Bucs fans
Malcolm Glazer was a good owner, his children are not and that's who I'm referring to.
"Bucs vice president Joel Glazer called Davis at his home around 10 p.m. on Feb. 17, 2002. The two talked for about 30 minutes, and the Bucs reiterated their interest in Gruden."
based on your last thread Culverhouse might have been more your style DaveH. Maybe checkout the new show on Amazon. Episode 1 is right in on Culverhouse
I don't know why the players are screwing up but why didn't the coaches make adjustments. When people say "lack of effort" it's not that the players aren't trying. It's that they become overwhelmed and discouraged because what they're doing isn't working very well. Bowles and his staff didn't seem to have a unique game plan for the Falcons. These last two games were not examples of the coach just totally screwing up. It has been the players, but I'll just call the in-game coaching "uninspired".
One small example of uninspired coaching is the fact that they didn't call a timeout on 3rd and 28 or 4th and 14. They could have made sure Vildor and others were on the right page. They didn't. They weren't.
but why are the players screwing up. the defense has much more talent in 2025 than it did in 2024 and somehow it's worse
Bowles isn't getting fired. He's quitting. Week by week he fails to come up with any new wrinkles or surprises for an underperforming defense. He stated, "There is more football behind me than ahead of me." That's an admission that his age is a factor.

Respectfully that's not it at all. Just look at Jamel Dean or at McCollum. Both with declined performance when they are paid, better performance when playing for the next pay day.
it's the coaches job to deal with that but their substandard play is not because they are overwhelmed it's because they are fat and happy. Note that both Bowles and Mayfirld are talking about practice and prep.

Or an honest statement that he's not throwing the players under the bus to save himself because he's close to retiring anyway.
you should see on the field exactly what he's talking about. Just watch the last game and focus on Reddick and watch his "effort" to tackle.
