1- CLE QB Baker Mayfield
*Browns are enamored with Baker and his winning ways, they won't risk waiting on him, and will hope to still get Barkley at 4.

2- NYG QB Josh Rosen
*If you pick 2nd overall and have an aging QB, you cannot pass on a potential franchise signal caller here, no matter how good Barkley is.

3- BUF QB Sam Darnold *trade*
*I can't imagine Indy staying at 3. It's possible a team trades up to get Barkley, but more likely a team like Miami will move up for a QB. With Mayfield/Rosen off the board, Darnold and Allen are the most likely candidates to go #3 overall. Whether it's the dolphins, cardinals, bills, or chargers, some team will make this move on draft day.

4- CLE RB Saquan Barkley
*CLE breathes a sigh of relief as they secure their QB of the future and still land the best prospect in this year's class. Baker/Barkley will quickly turn things around in Cleveland.

5- DEN G Quenton Nelson
*Denver missed out on Cousins (Minnesota), and then misses out on the top three QBs in the draft. Paxton Lynch will get another shot as he competes with free agent Case Keenum. I think they could attempt to trade down but I doubt there will be demand at this stage for Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson. As a result, Denver takes the best OL prospect in this class to help overhaul one of last year's worst offensive lines.

6- NYJ QB Lamar Jackson
*Many assume Josh Allen to be the pick here, but the Jets shock the draft world with the selection of Lamar Jackson. Seeing how explosive Deshaun Watson was for Houston last year, the Jets will look to replicate the same things that made Watson some early success. Jackson needs refinement from a traditional passing standpoint, but his athleticism and playmaking ability will make up for those deficiencies as he develops in Bowles' system.

7- TB DE Bradley Chubb
*As stated above, I see no chance of Indianapolis staying at 3. A QB needy team will offer them a ransom to trade up and the Colts will gladly accept the picks. Mayfield, Rosen, Darnold, and Barkley will be your top 4. I don't see a team jumping ahead of us for Chubb (although wouldn't it be fitting if Gruden did just that?). It's worth contemplating whether to move up to 5 to secure him but that will require swapping out 3rd round pick for Denver's 5th. I believe we can stay put and still get em.
