Brady says he wants to spend more time with his family. This is the reason he is taking his time deciding if he wants to come back for another season. Does he really spend any the less time with his kids than the rest of us every day dads in a nuclear family? My dad always said you can make family time no matter what.
1) We work all day and our kids attend school. Same for Tom.
2) We see the kids for dinner up until bedtime. So does Tom.
3) We go on a family vacation if possible maybe once a year. Tom gets a three month family vacation if he chooses.
4) We are home every weekend. Tom is away 8-10 weekends a year for games.
Maybe he can free up a little more time for the family with a little less of the TB12 side job. There will be lots of time for that gig when he retires.
