Reading between the lines in this story, it sounds like Brady will be packing his bags. Why would Kraft talk about not forcing Belichick to keep Brady unless Belichick was not wanting to keep Brady? See if this conversation makes sense:

Belichick to Kraft: "We really need to keep Tom for another year or two."
Kraft: OK I'll tell the public that I'm not forcing him on you."

That makes no sense. So I think its pretty clear that Belichick has already decided its time to move on, which is why Kraft is throwing Belichick under the bus a little bit. He wants everyone to know its not Kraft who is responsible for losing Brady.

Robert Kraft Won't Force Bill Belichick To Keep Tom Brady If He Doesn't Want Him
Total Pro Sports | Feb 4
Tom Brady and the New England Patriots have been very successful for the better part of twenty years, but all of that might be coming to an end if the team decided to not bring him back in 2020.

Robert Kraft has gone on record to state that he hopes Brady comes back, but he will reportedly not force head coach Bill Belichick to keep Tom Brady if he wants to move on from the future Hall of Fame quarterback.

Tom E. Curran of NBC Sports Boston explains:

“The owner has declared many times he wants Brady to remain a Patriot. But my understanding is that, just as he wouldn’t force Brady to stay under a franchise tag, he won’t intercede if Belichick concludes moving on from Brady is the best course of action."
